first smoke is just terrible siince it gives tt opporunity to go tetris wiithoutt being seen, the point of ramp smoke iis that tt cant gett ooutt of ramp or cant piick guy tthat is crossing to connectioon
Thanks for your comment, and like you say, it's obviously not supposed to be used as a consistent smoke for short round on round. That clip shows you the smoke is possible, and it's up to you how you utilise it. For example, if in a 1v1, you have info that the last T is in short, and you're coming from CT to A to defuse, you can throw that smoke without peaking short, and it will pop in time for when you enter the site, putting the T at a huge disadvantage.
DAILY PLAYERS, if it was free and terrible, nobody would play it, like alliance of valiant arms, yet tf2 has something special that no other game has replicated, and is definitely still relevant in the world of fps titles. Personally, if valve doesn't want to work on tf2 anymore, they should just hand it over to the community. ;)
I think there was also a difference between American and EU csgo for a time. I think regarding market and kitchen, although you'll still totally hear people call it that so you should know both. Short and Cat are basically one thing on Mirage which is the area between mid and arches, although I think cat generally means they're still closer to mid. In Dust2 short is basically just the section around stairs and onto A site whereas cat is everything else on that platform more towards mid.
+The Sadistic Biscuit It's really only hostile if you play competitive in the higher MG ranks and above and you're terrible. (Usually because you got to there because of a smurf). If you stay in silver, I don't think it's that bad.
+Augustss Kamerovskis jump throws are difficult to land because you have to throw exactly at the peak of the jump, thats why a lot of people have a jumpthrow bind maybe that helps you :)
+Augustss Kamerovskis 64 tick and 128 smokes are different. The throw is the same, but they bounce very different. Usually you can throw every smoke from 64 tick in 128 by aiming a little bit lower
first of all, thanks for this great tutorial. but why did you show so many ways to smoke the same place? like 5 ways to smoke window, 5 ways to smoke b short, and so on. its so hard to remember. i would like it more, when you just show the easiest way for each. the video would be shorter and easier to remember. :) thanks again and greetz :)
You don't have to learn them all, just pick the one you're most comfortable with. But the reason there needs to be so many is so that no matter where you are, you can still smoke that location, without having to backtrack to a specific point. Further to that, if there was only one way to smoke a certain spot, as soon as the enemy saw the smokes, they would know you're in that specific spot. Multiple spots would give away multiple members of your team, and in severe situations would allow for the enemy to rotate entirely and cause you to fight a 5v5 rather than a 5v2/5v3 to take the site. I'm glad you like the video though, and my advice to you is to pick your favourite ones and learn those :)
+Márquez Caramba what I do is with a few friends we each use one of the smoke positions. that way you can completely smoke off a site and rush in with no fear.

That's a good way to do it! I was considering making an album of screenshots for them all too, then you could grab the ones you wanted into your own collection etc. Just haven't got round to doing it yet!
ZoogieHD Haha, I didn't notice I was doing it in the video. I played with some people that call it A Short before I made this, so it kinda stuck. I usually call it ramp and tetris, same as you :P
That's an extra piece of utility you could've used to deny a plant or something more useful. Just go onto site and smoke main from there, it's not that hard.
search for it on RU-vid, it's basically a execytable file you start from the game, that allows you in only one command to combine infinite time and money. I think some famois youtuber made a video on this topic, its easy to find

Hey Jaime, awesome video mate. Having troubles recently getting my Snipers nest ledge smoke from T spawn... Has something changed in the game? using a jumpthrow bind and its just not traveling far enough.... help?
Dodgybr0 Hmm I don't think anything's changed at all. If you're following the one in this video, you'll need to aim lower for 64 tick servers like Valve's MatchMaking, otherwise if you're trying on 128 tick it should all be the same!
Great video, really good exept for one thing, its abit jumpy and everywhere. i dont know if you've fixed this for future videos or not, but i think if you take all the T smokes first/ct smokes first, and go from area to area it will be easier to remember, maybe its just me though :)
Craxler As best I can, they're grouped by area from which you throw them, for example the smokes go CT Spawn > B Kitchen > B House > Connector > T Spawn. I'm not sure I can group them much better than that I'm afraid. The problem with separating them by T or CT smokes, is some can be both, and some T smokes can be from areas that also have CT smokes, so it would be even more jumpy and confusing that way :P
Yeah that might be true, it got better towards the end, but like the first few smokes i believe were abit jumpy :) great video anyway :) After watching the video a second time i get what you're saying, perhaps smoother cuts between smokes. :) Also, i found a smoke that a lurker at A-slope can throw for a complemetry B-pillar smoke that you showed :)
Yeah, I agree the first 3 seem jumpy, and I think that's because they go to 3 different places quite far apart, but they're all thrown from almost the same spot. Sorry about that my friend, but I'm glad you see the ordering now. Smoother cuts is something I've started doing in the more recent videos, so again I agree that was something I should have done! radheya nagarkar I think you mean noclip. In console, type 'map de_mirage', then type 'sv_cheats 1', and then 'bind n noclip'. This will put you on the map Mirage, turn on cheats on the server, and bind noclip to your n key. Then all you need to do is press n to fly around the map

Watching the video and it bothers me that you call market kitchen. Kitchen is the room in apartments, furthermore house is the first place from t spawn to B while what you called house in this video is actually apartments.
8:50 no matter what it wont go far enough to actually bounce on the box, i even tried using the jump nade throw bind which made it go farther just not enough. any suggestions?
I wouldn't recommend the 1st smoke they could walk boxes and pick off easy kills from stairs or if someone is on bomb watching palace or if they are rushing ladder
How do you customize the lobby so I can buy throughout the round and give myself max cash and time for the map. I’ve been practicing the smokes all day and I have to go to spec and back to t to try one at a time and it’s annoying

6:21 moment doesn't work for me even with your throw-jump bind. smoke lands ON top of that wall with lantern, that on your video smoke side-bounces from. doing just exactly the same but lands on top every time. other moments work fine. still looking for perfect & simple jungle+connector smoke :|
Great flashes, but please refrain from calling all of them "pop flashes". Most of them are dodge-able (if you're fast), and as such not really a "pop" flash. Still great flashes, just wanted to point out the difference between a pop-flash and a "normal" flash.
To be very honest about your work, a LOT of these are pretty bad, some provide with one-way angles to the enemy, some don't fully work that well. I'm not saying the video is bad, it's a pretty good start up for anyone who wants to smoke, but you could improve too...
important thing that i have to say: those throws that imply throw in jumps are tricky-tricky, cuz different people "throw grenades in jumps" differently. which exact moment they push button (or release it) to throw grenade while they jump differs & it's just hard to make it precise. so where grenade lands, directly depends form that too. so maybe there should be some specific guide on how you recommend to throw in jumps like in what moment, what to push etc...
rlywhocares Yup, jump throws are tricky, but you can use a jump throw bind, which I explain here [1], which will make you throw the nade at the same point of the jump every time. I have a question. How come in chat the 'radio says 'granade' and 'flashbang' rather than 'fire in the hole'? Is that something you can change to use in Matchmaking? And if so is it allowed?
what is the proper way to throwing a nade to window from T spawn? I would simultaneously press the nade and jump and it doesn't quite make it... I would throw and instanteously jump and it doesn't make it... g
You use too much jump throws man. A lot of this smokes you can do without it. Jump throws are easy to miss when you don't have the proper bind. Great video anyway.
You should make a shortened video series on most important smokes for lower level pugs. Like what smokes are most crucial if you have a team that isn't communicating well but can greatly improve success of a mid control take, b rush, a rush etc if you use this one smoke
Jamie im trying to use the mid connector smoke from t spawn but it only lands in the 3rd step and fails, i was wondering what viewmodel are you using? im currently using desktop and i love it, so i dont want to change? any advice?
You should definetely do workshop maps with all of these nades for all maps! Or someone else could do it, since the nade practice maps never have all of the good nades in one map... Keep up the good work anyway!

Ik this video is 2 years old but I'll say it anyway there was a flash you forgot in window if Ct are late for the snipe from window to mid. It is a look down go a little back and throw the same time that will jump out so you flash all there are looking at window. Gl and nice video
