Bhaiya Thankuuu so much !! Very Informative. Honestly speaking there are very few channels on RU-vid that provide info related to Bitsat and this is The Best. See you Soon At Bits Pilani. Lots of lovee
@@InsaneIshbhaiya i have scored just 75% in my boards and my mean of pcm is lower than 75%. So can i qualify for bitsat if i complete the criteria in my improvement exam, basically do thay accept the improvement result of boards??
@@Air-wl4ky The degree as such won't matter, it is the way you can portray what you have done in the degree, any degree student can go abroad for masters!
@@AdityaSharma-yp3vuthere is actually, it depends from company to company, the companies define the CGPA cutoff, so it is not branch specific as such, it is more company specific
I got compartment in chemistry last year but this is my drop year and i complete my compartment and improvement exam with 75 percent so i was eligible for bitsat
so when do we get to choose the dual degree as CS.like suppose i want CS but get into with MSC economics. if after first year i dont get into CS then what will i do? Really informative video btw bro 👊🏻
Firstly thank you so much brother! If you don't get CS branch after first year you will have to choose another branch for yourself, so there is some risk factor, but it is less compared to single degree students
Also, it would be great if you could do like an interview with such a student or something who can really let us know about the nuances related to this, if possible
hi man, the video was really informative and useful. i just want to know whether circuit branches with an msc course would be really hectic and hard to manage or will it be doable ?
Only the third year will be hectic, so you can choose to take lesser courses from your main branch and focus more on the MSc branch that time, which is how most people do it, apart from that it will even help you in placements!
Bhai, I'm not sure about this, I can't decide this for you, and moreover the official cutoffs can vary based on how students have answered the exams, but I think you may get some good Msc Branch
Bhaiya if we do Msc course which is a dual degree, will we receive our engineering degree like BTech degree first then Msc degree or just Msc degree?? and the followup question is if we sit in placements do we get judged on the basis of our degree like is there any preferential treatment towards BTech students???
Firstly congrats bro! That's a pretty heavy score! I think you shld get any branch any campus, but CSE at Pilani ka ek baar dekh lena, will depend on the cutoff, but mil jayega mostly! Good job man!!
@@AR-RS01 If you have a basic idea about a topic/chapter then one shots are okay, but if you haven't read a particular chapter and are planning to watch one shot then I would suggest to read that chapter first by your own.
Bro is it tough to score 7+ cgpa to get cse main branch??? Is it risky or if we work hard we stil get any good main branch?? Any of them failed to opta main branch??
It is not that tough to get 7+ CGPA, if you work decently hard it is possible, but usually prefer not taking it only because one extra year, and they don't want to take risk of not getting 7+ CGPA
Is there any difference between BITS Pilani and Hyderabad... What to choose . We belong to TN.... Will it be wise to choose Hyd campus as it is near. ..ant difference in academics, internships and placements
I would still suggest go for the Pilani campus, coz the placements are much better there! Ik it may be a bit far but still Pilani compared to Hyd, Pilani would be the better choice. Or you can choose Goa if you even want a good college life
Bhaiya is it possible that I can change my dual degree branch after 1st year. Like from MSc Chem to MSc physics? Also what is the cutoff for same? Btw nice video thanks for this information..😊
Hey thanks for the compliment man! Yes you can change, the cutoff should be over 8.5 CGPA, you have to mail the administration and they explain it more in detail to you
For Dual degrees the cutoff to get ECE or EEE is around 6.5 CGPA and above, but for switch from main branch to CS branch, the cutoffs are very high, around 9.8 CGPA, so ya you can switch but it requires a crazy high CGPA
Yes, but only in the particular MSc course. Say for example it is MSc Eco + CS, then your Masters are completed in Eco and Bachelors are completed in CS
Hey . Great video . Wanted to clarify something. If im getting an msc degree in goa currently then if my cgpa is good enough i can choose computer in my second year ? If im wrong please do explain
does having a dual degree affect placements? my sister told me that in their college (NIT Jalandhar) students who completed their msc in the 5th year were not allowed to sit in btech placements, does this happen here in bits?and suppose you are doing msc and your BE degree is in some other branch than cs, can you sit in cs branch placements?
Hey brother, dual degree does not affect placements as such, rather the companies favour you since you have an extra degree. Secondly, you can always sit for IT placements even if you don't have CS branch, and the company will decide whether they want you or not.
Bhaiya maine suna h ki start-ups ka acha culture h BITS m and funding bhi milti h startups ko to kya ye sach h? Or agr sach h to iska kya process h or kon konsi branches k students start krskte h apne khudka kuch BITS s ap iske bare m bta skte h thoda kch?
Bhai the startup culture is across all branches, anyone can build a startup provided you can gather a team of like minded individuals and work on your Product Market fit
For this there are a lot of complications, I've heard that you have to give TOEFL and all to prove your language proficiency. Again not very sure about this, I'd recommend focusing on the main courses, coz otherwise your placements would get affected
I have seen certain companies favouring some students who've got MSc Eco + CS, but it also depends on your interview! Basically any company will favour two degrees over just one!
@@pranav9821ha yes, again depends on the companies that come and what they offer, for now just focus on getting in and studying hard, placements start after 4th year so don't worry about that so early on!
Min cutoff would be around 130s since it is form a Bpharm degree, but if you want and MSc degree it is 190s but you shld be aiming way higher than the mark to hit the actual mark
If you are planning to study super hard in first year only then go for the MSc branch, or else you can take ECE also and sit for IT placements later, so if you want CSE very bad and you're okay with using one year of your life to get one more extra degree, only then go for Dual degree!
Bhaiya I got 103000 rank I'm male and 33k obc rank . My father is serving in army I can get AIT pune. . I want to ask about other options at this rank . Please suggest me some of the other colleges .
Looks good brother, but the third year is super hectic in circuit branches, and ECE is the most hectic course, but good placements there, so as long as you can survive that you are good to go!!
Bhaiya can you please advice Pilani "B.E. Electronics & Instrumentation" should be kept above Goa and Hyd "B.E. Electronics & Communication" in preference??
