Salaries is not westage. Westage is a minister contributing millions in harambees, politicians moving around in helicopters and fleet of high end vehicles, politicians buying large tracks of lands and employing unqualified friends and relatives in demanding offices.
ehh...if we pay these ppl 30,000 a month.....they will not have that 770,000 to splash around....then...no more easy loans thru parliament....no sitting allowance....even their mefical to be restricted to 100,000 p.a only on inpatient.admission....the rest walipe from pocket like we do.... ...simple...we cannot afford.... ....asap...salaries to go down..not asking...but we forcing them down....

Mps, Cs's and Ps's should start buying their houses and cars at market rates like every other Kenyan. Currently the govt subsidizes cars and houses into the billions. Remember they are servants of the people so if you want to run for office know whats in store. Parliament is not a get rich quick or live a comfortable life. You chose to be a public servant not for the perks and benefits but to serve the people. But now they milk us to suppport their lavish lifestyles and this has removed them away from the peoples struggles thats why they would withouit a blink of an eye consider putting bread, sanitary pads and cutting school feeding programs. Infact these funds should go to school feeding programs all over the country. the funds can go to food4education which has done a great jobh feeding kids in Anirobi and Mombasa and wants to expand to the entire country. Kids can not learn on an empty stomach. Many kids a school meal is all they will get because at home there is no food
