Welcome to cs2 vs csgo video. In this video, I counter strike 2 vs csgo comparison. CS 2 and cs go are among the great games. CS2 gameplay and csgo gameplay are very popular. Counter Strike 2 was released in 2023. CS:GO also debuted in 2013. You can play online with friends in 2 games. Graphics are good in both games. Cs2 physics very good. CS2 is more popular than csgo in the United States and European countries such as Germany.

Most people who had played csgo didn't even own anything above GTX 1000 series leaving alone your mighty ass rtx 4000 series gpus and secondly I have a GTX 750 ti and cs2 runs way worse than csgo. I don't want to upgrade my gpu just because of the fact that valve shitted their optimization. Go ahead and be as big of a fanboy you like, but a fact is a fact. Cs2 is an optimization mess.

I still prefer CSGO, the old graphics just can't be beat CS2 looks like every other modern 5 v 5 competitive game bright and full of vibrant colors CSGO had that dark grimy look which added to the whole Terrorist Vs Counter Terrorist theme.

I think CS2 is better than CSGO overall. But the thing is, this is a competitive FPS game and we need better OPTIMIZATION. They did a lot of stuff better and much more realistic but in the end it's a GAME, we need to be able to play this game smoothly. CSGO did not have the best optimization but it was good enough. Now it's just FPS drops, laggings etc.

7:28 csgo movement was so much easier to track and simple. 1.6 is even more simple and easy to track, but csgo is a good sweet spot imo.

I agree - personally i think the "fluid" movement looks ridiculous and gives no good indication of direction, furthermore it increases the "he was running and shooting" (when he counter strafed so fast) aspect - its just not a good feeling to die like this. Especially the legs which are literally stuck to some surfaces (thats why there was a Michael Jackson Peek)

The color and lighting in cs2 are way worse.. The guns are gray instead of black. It's all washed out looking. Like there isn't enough contrast or something. The first time I played CS2 I thought it looked like a cartoon.

I honestly think CS:GO looked better. Yeah the graphics and smokes are better in CS2, but the maps are too bright and the colors in general look very washed out. It just doesn't have that grimy look anymore and it looks too clean, it's most notable with maps like Italy.

@@vibaj16 never really had a problem with that in CSGO, maybe if skins are involved but that's not something I've seen. If anything I have a harder time seeing my crosshair on the newer maps cause they are so bright, and for the AUG I can't even change it.

@@justartagain1056 visibility was a big problem in CSGO. There's a reason why some players use some high saturation filter to fully distinguish enemies from the surrounding environment.

Ak spray, shooting in general and low skill movement with no 1:1 bhop with csgo is the ultimate reason for cs2 being an inferior game to csgo. Go had perfected mechanics, required no change at all. Go’s mechanics was goated. Cs2 has absolute garbage mechanics. Mechanics is what makes this game. Not smokes and beautiful water.

absolutely right, spray problem, map too bright, subtick problem, even the FPS is problem... and alot of missed content in there. GO is the greatest counter strike series that ever made (I'm not play 1.6 before cuz my first CS experience is CS:Source) Btw I hope Valve can find some manager or CEO who has many passion on Valve company game to improve and upgrade it

cs go bomb in a sense more realistic,since T side had to plant the bomb next to "radioactive munitions" as stated in cs 1.6 till cs go but in cs 2 the "munitions" dont give such a big explosion as before, weird man

What Valve changed so much to shut down CS:GO: + new smokes + *_l e g z_* + new graphics + useless Equipment and limited buy menu + new community maps (that's actually a good addition) - a lot of good maps from CS:GO - stable working servers - stable hit record system - adequate buy menu - high framerate - stable working anti-cheat And we've got a lot of patches for Dota 2. Thank you, Valve.

One thing I rlly didn’t like about cs2 is that the viewmodels look a bit more plastic-like compared to csgo, not sure if it’s the lack of specular/bumpmaps or something but it’s definitely off.

The stats dont lie, CS2 is more popular, and it even made me a player, as i was totally uninterested by the old Source engine, which was nearing 20 years of life, if not that already. People need to let go off the old and embrace the new because statistically, its better. Objectively it is a better engine too (Source 2)

The graphics of CS2 are fantastic, but there's so much content missing. I can't believe Valve did this with Counter Strike. They treat their baby like crap. I think the release of CS2 has damaged Valve's image and fan base to an unprecedented degree. Even the release of CSS and the resulting split in the community wasn't that bad.

css was punishing for noobs but it wasn't as random as 1.6 that's why everybody was like css is ez bluh bluh. the reason was some people wanna cope with past way too much if you take a look you'll see that css pros were far more successful in GO(which is more similar to souce and it's literally the updated version of source). but cs2 is like imagine you're suffering from forearm and wrist pain to keep your mechanics sharp meanwhile a fvg tourist is hitting a jumpshot wallbang through smoke while running with a deagle and thinking he's got something to say meanwhile MF doesnt know the difference between mouse and keyboard.

goat is a kinda cope. dont know if the 1.6 you're glazing was even smooth or nah but the 1.6 that is available now is only playable with low ping or offline and characters are way too laggy when they move around unless you switch renderer to software which is as unstable as cs2 in framerate + mechanics are random as hell.

It's been 4 months first time in my life I haven't played Counter strike because this is CS2 I don't enjoy it due to its inconsistency with subtick even low tick 64 was ok they should have just upgraded to 128T and did some lighting tweaks No needed to bring whole new game sadly I won't return to CS2 now my passion for game has died too

The only good thing cs2 brought is ofc graphics and somewhat details(still better than csgo though) and the modt important thing is you can see your own shadow but they took everything else(csgo>>cs2)

Subtick is good, smoke can be nade is good, what else? I mean, the feeling of gun's control is horrible, cleaning blood and cancel arm shaking command still not in game. Yet noob can use command to auto peek even use custom roulette to auto throw Throwing objects... And the worst part, fps is too low, I use the same gaming laptop, when it was csgo, I got 300+fps, now in cs2 only 100 to 150fps, sometime when there was smoke, even worse to 80fps. It would be unreasonable if people didn't miss csgo.

As for the improvement in graphics, from a certain perspective, I even prefer the original, "bleaker" picture. The improvement of the graphics of CS2 is not as huge as that of previous CS works, and these insignificant upgrades are not what players want.

Can't believe how shitty CS2 bomb explosion animation look. It looked 10 times better and more realistic on previous engine from 2004. I get that noone pays attention bot come on! In 2004 CSS the props were flying all around the place and even solid objects were getting destroyed! (Look at CSS de_inferno bombsite a!!!). CS2 is a big step backwards.

CS:GO has better graphics than CS2 in my honestly debatable opinion.

CS2 is ways too focus on details and physic I personally prefer the old CSGO more. I prefer performance over graphic. This is a FPS game. People don't pay much attention to those details.
