Congratulations Jeremy. I sent you a text years ago when you were spending some time in the FIU Aquarius Reef Base ...and you replied! I was very impressed by that. Been a fan ever since. No surprise they chose you to go to the Moon. Enjoy the adventure!

I'm only 13, all of my life I've had dreams of being an astronaut, and if not that, my next best option is a fighter pilot. But I will never stop pursueing my dreams of visiting another terrestrial body outside our own.

On the first human return to the Moon, that NASA offers a seat to the CSA shows respect for the shared work the two agencies have carried since the 1960s. Remember, Canada was just the third country to have an orbital satellite! Congrats to CSA, NASA, and lunar-naut Hansen. Go Artemis!

He needs to leave a time capsule containing an 8-Track of one of Joni Mitchell's releases (or cassette tape?) on the moon. #BigYellowTaxi

I 'd be really interested in listening to all the frogs at the CSA tell us how they helped make the NASA rocket.Canadians need basic transportation. Not trips to the moon.

Meanwhile here in the US we have qualified citizens that should go first...how much does Canada contribute to the US space program? US taxpayers pay not Canada..not taking away from his qualificaitons Canada doesnt have a space program..get one...dont rely on the US for your stuff
@chiaeagle6720
@chiaeagle6720 Год назад
We actually pay to help with ISS upkeep and supply the CANADARM that literally helped built it. Which offsets money the US Taxpayers would otherwise have to pay to built and develop. We also pay to send our astronauts up. The same as you guys did for rides on the soyuz until recently.

Sad that with so many positive comments from Americans we hear from the one wet blanket. Not only will Canada be contributing the most advanced robotic technology available but also the vehicle that will transport the crew while on the Moon and later Mars. Canada has an excellent science history and a large number of citizens educated in the sciences. Canada has many universities including undergraduate universities where students are taught by professors with PHD's. Not lecturers as in so many bigger schools. Canada is also America's trusted source for vital raw materials. Materials not from an enemy nation, either Russia or China. Canada is also the neighbor and some neighbors are dual citizens of both countries. Canada is part of the group of three nations that have worked with NASA for many years. This shows how important it is to know the facts before speaking.

Our neighbors up north have contributed to the american space program from its very conception. I think bringing a Canadian along to honor this partnership holds far more value than another American.
