This review is spot on. I have the NIV Pitt, and this personal size CSB is basically identical in size. The CSB is definitely easier to read and less cluttered. I've enjoyed the CSB
That looks really nice. I too, like that compact size. But at this point there is only one more CSB that I want. ( I have two) . That is the Ancient Faith Study Bible. I'd have to do some serious rationalizing for that one.
Check out Matthew Everhard’s video on his Pitt Minion. He has an update video every year for five years. Listening to him is what is prompting me to buy the CSB personal since I am a CSB guy.
I just got the verse-by-verse and I love it but I don’t have a little pistol bible to cross reverence with and flip around in when I’m doing my study. I may end up getting one of the these personal size ones.
I would love to see a blue or green edge or gilding in bibles. Not necessarily a vibrant color but something different. I feel like gold and silver feels so mature and old. Blue and green feel more refreshing especially for a younger person like me lol. I'm also an artist that's why I'm particular in these details. 😅😁
Would anyone who has this bible be willing to measure the dimensions and let a brother know what they are? I've been searching the internet to find that info, but alas, no success.
I have the CSB personal size genuine leather which I bought online here in Philippines. My complaints are the ghosting due to thin pages and small text (7.5). However it's my fault. Although I was used to reading compact bibles in my early 20s I didn't realize that I am now into larger fonts. Maybe I'll get used to it. Another con for me is that the red letter is not that dark enough to be readable. I'm okay with an orangy font color but it's pale. Edit: I got used to small text. I realized that my brain can adjust and it is still readable. It's a good bible except that I still don't like the orangy "red text".
