CSCS Racing, Round 4: Event Summary from Calabogie
The fourth round of the CSCS Racing series has concluded at Calabogie Motorsports Park, marking a demanding and eventful weekend. The team navigated a series of challenges, including unpredictable weather conditions, competitive contenders, and a track that significantly affected tire performance.
The Nankang CRS tires experienced considerable wear due to the track’s abrasive surface, necessitating a change post-event. Despite these challenges, the vehicle demonstrated solid performance. Although we encountered an issue with the oxygen sensor, the car still managed to achieve a commendable sixth-place overall finish.
In terms of class standings, our vehicle was the sole competitor in our class, resulting in a first-place finish by default. Notably, we were the only team to improve our performance in competition compared to our qualifying times. We concluded the event with a notable lap time of 2:26.754, surpassing several of our personal bests.
