Hi Max! Thanks for the shout-out. This is technically your own spin on a tune. I'm at 4.0 FD with a dyno of 10.882 instead of 10.990 and +2182 Evo. I can do 11.0xx in the same Live lobby. (If I shift fast enough). Takes practice, but still no bumping. Good video. 👍
I can debunk the Bump Theory very easily. I have a Valhalla with a 7.700 tune, which puts me right in the bottom of the 7.700-8.199 lobby. My Valhalla, with a 7.700 tune also runs 7.700 at best, usually in the 7.700 to 7.710 range. I have not been bumped once while doing this for months. Previously, I tuned my Valhalla to run below dyno, with the dyno being above 7.700 and did get bumped all the time.
After your previous video, this whole season I have raced against various opponents in my t4 dodge charger srt hellcat and took all the wins. I didnt get bumped. I am in the same lobby.
Can you get bumped without beating dyno or running over the hard time split? Well, I'm not sure about anyone else but that certainly seems to be happening to me lately. Moreover, after those bumps it's proving to be a serious frikin' nightmare just to re-enter that original lobby - which sorta sux when you suddenly start getting caned (by anything up to a second) just before a WC. I don't claim to know how the lobby (or bracket) algorithm works, but over the past few seasons I've had 3 cars get knocked into just plain unwinnable lobbies - and this is while NEVER having broken the lobby split, or the dyno time set for that lobby. I could understand the process a bit more if this phenomenon only occured with cars that I've tuned back down to slower splits from their performance acme's. However, I'm completely nonplussed as to why my Supersnake (giving a dyno of 8.069 and actually running about 0.050 slower than that in lives) missing a stage 6 and quite a few fusions) could be arbitrarily moved over the line from
The most likely reason for your bumps relates back to the fact that your cars are running more stage upgrades in less than full fusions. The game now takes into consideration once again your PP level along with your dyno. So some cars that are running higher PP points, even if it's not beating Dyno, lobby poorly because of the low Evo relative to the performance points. There are certain cars in the game right now that just does very poorly in live. The whole ratio and when it starts to become bad it's not that clear and I would have to individually test the car to try to figure it out. So it's not as simple as a blanket do this and that will work situation.
Great video max! Question. I’ve noticed when I use a car in a showdown and then go to live racing, it ends up in a faster lobby. My question is , are showdowns counted as a live race?
@@maxthegamerOG thanks Max, I knew it. Maybe pass this information on to DL. I’m sure he already knows, but with all the show downs we are going to be doing for green red and gold tokens it would be some good information to have.I know you guys love the live racing so just an FYI
Great video. I agree, the bump theory has more to do with average race times than wins or losses. If I do get bumped to a faster lobby, I can usually slide back by a couple evos to return to the slower one. Then find a swap partner to do 10-15 races (above lobby threshold times) to help equalize race time averages again. I haven't been able to confirm if racing bots factors into average race times.
hi there , mr max. maybe you can do a test for me to make something clear. in live im using the yellow star gemera with special set-up where the PP is lower than stock-car ( i only use tires s5 and transition 4 , tuning is final drive 3.83 and tires 48-52 giving PP 506 and evo 1788, credits to dasmarten). i can drive around 0.6 below dyno and to me it feels i dont get bumped.
This type of glitch tunes do not bump easily. What is your dyno and what are opponent's running? Because if the matchmaking advantage is great enough, you will not bump fast because you are always running well slower than dyno.
@@maxthegamerOG my dyno with this set-up is 14.5 , the car is running around 13.9 - 13.8. as long as opponents are not downtuned with negative evo they run around 14.3 to 14.0
Hi Max, Since you are a great player and may have difficult time challenging players you could temporarily change your screen name if no one wants to race you.
My 911 outlaw puts me with cars that are almost a full second slower I literally NEVER lose and its NEVER kicked me out I just down shift before finishing my crew thinks I’m hacking because of my rp gains!!
This is the sickest and dumbest game ever! Elite tokens has a peak limit of 10,000 ... hence it’s so annoying that the player has to check the amount of the elite tokens before they play a race that could reward 3,000 tokens! So sick of it! Too many other games we have to clock through in the busy Xmas time! This is wicked!
Are you on tips and tunes Facebook page? There is the entire setup and tune by Renaissance man Eric on there. It's a low upgrade setup with 4.85 FD and 0/100 Tire. Nitrous does not tune as it is stage 1. Stage 4 trans and stage 3 Tire and stage 3 intake.
@@maxthegamerOG I am on tips and tunes FB page but i seem to have a problem finding posts and articles about strong live tunes, as for example this one. Do you have any advice how to search for these posts? both yours and from other players? I love strong live tunes! thanks in advance Max, and great video as always!
@@Anzatoro unfortunately I don't see a lot of people sharing good tunes on there. Renaissance Man Eric has quite a few good ones. You should search him by name for his posts.
