On New Year's Eve 2021, we took a trip down to the Toledo area in search of trains. As we were leaving, we decided to take a drive over to the old Stanley Yard to see what was left of it. When we arrived, I was shocked to see a CSX locomotive switching the yard. We were able to get a couple shots of the locomotive switching before it went further into the yard and the crew ended their shift. Stanley Yard was originally the main hub for CSX's mixed freight traffic in the Toledo area until it was moved to Walbridge yard. Since then, the yard went from a busy hump yard to a flat switching storage yard. It is very hard seeing a train here nowadays, so this was a pretty nice catch.
