Wow listen to those rails sing and couplers screech.on a fast mixed freight m560. We are getting a fly over bridge on the csx bertween 59st yard and 87st. carries it over the diamonds at 75 st belt railway metra , ns, going into landers yard and the other csx going into the clearing yard, it will aleviate bottle necks and blocked crossings at 74th and columbus drive. and the metra commuter line. awesome train meet.

Great video! I remember when me and my mom were at a railroad crossing an NS intermodal went by. It had 2 engines leading and one was an Sd70acu. It had 2 dpus in the middle and it was almost 170 cars, maybe even 200

At 0:34 we hear the horn on Norfolk Southern train #14M warning of its approach to Berry Road. At 0:48 Norfolk Southern train #14M hits Berry Road. The train is powered by a Norfolk Southern engine and a Union Pacific engine. At 1:01 a former Tropicana orange boxcar appears with CKIX reporting marks. Those reporting marks belong to C. K. Industries. They are a railroad leasing company. At 1:37 Norfolk Southern train #14M passes Berry Road. 2:42 You turn north on Berry Road to check to see if any CSX trains are coming. At 3:14 we look west on the CSX tracks to see the headlight of CSX train #M560 which has just hit the Lake Road crossing in Pomfret, New York. At 3:38 CSX train #M560 warns of its approach Berry Road. At 3:53 CSX train #M560 hits Berry Road. At 6:39 CSX train #M560 passes Berry Road. You zoom in on the back of CSX train #M560 as it continues east. At 7:05 CSX train #M560 passes the CSX Milepost 44.8 signals. A CSX manifest train is approaching Middle Road on track #1. At 22:02 the CSX manifest train blows its horn to announce its approach to Middle Road. At 22:16 the CSX manifest train hits Middle Road. AT 23:44 a mid-train DPU appears in the CSX manifest train. You stopped this portion of the video at 24:05 without telling us the date when you captured this unknown train. 24:06 We are at the CSX tracks at Middle Road on an unknown date. AT 24:14 we hear the warning horn of CSX train #P048 which is Amtrak train #48, the Lake Shore Limited. At 24:25 CSX train #P048 nits Middle Road. The second engine on this Amtrak train is Amtrak engine #105, which is one of the Amtrak 50th Anniversary engines. AT 24:38 CSX train #P048 passes our location and continues east. 24:50 Your Outro begins and ends at 29:07. Thank you for documenting these Norfolk Southern, CSX and Amtrak trains in the Dunkirk, New York area. I enjoyed watching this video. The former Tropicana boxcar was an unusual freight car to see on Norfolk Southern train #14M. I am glad that you were able to capture that car.

The horn on that UP Locomotive on the 315 sounded quiet. Was it the wind,or did you notice that too?

"Cool" opener with the ex-Tropicana reefer sailing by at the "One-Minute Mark". "Tried-and-True" speed-lettered Southern Pacific autorack whips by @1:22...what was that interesting blue boxcar with the "W" herald @1:34?? Another oddity...a yellow gondola @6:08 with what looks like an "NYC" reporting mark!! That Southern "Serves the South" waffleboard boxcar @6:25 was perfect...beautiful pan, WWOT (made for a great screenshot!). Every now-and-then, an intermodal serves-up a surprise...i.e. "throwback" TOFC veteran (Clipper) @11:16...not-too-shabby GT autorack in "signature blue" followed @19:27. Last, but not least, one of my favorite WWOT features, an Amtrak "limited", slings-by to "bring down the curtain". Excellent show WWOT... 👍👏👏

You have mentioned in a few videos lately that there are a lot more auto racks on the rails lately. I wonder if the auto makers have finally gotten the computer chips they have needed for the cars they have built in their inventory, just waiting for the chips??? Does anybody know who is familiar with the auto industry?

Some interesting trains went by today. First, NS 315 with UP trailing second, then CSX I166 with a lot of baretables then M363 with solid KCS power.

I'm looking at the graffiti. I notice at 19:30 there is an autorack with PIGCOP in huge letters on the side of the car, and there it is again at 23:23 in a different train. Unfortunately the trains are going so fast that even if I slow the video right down I cannot read the car numbers, and none of the adjoining cars are the same in both trains. (I can't imagine there are two cars with identical graffiti.) In a lot of cases I cannot read the graffiti because not only are they drawn in strange-looking letters but they're all blurred due to the speed of the train.

Train meet with barking seals alright! Glad you still have some fall color, up here in northern Wisconsin it's all gone but at least we had record highs in the 70s. Great as always, liked it much!
