Towards the end of August, CSX Y101 made a quick trip into boston with SD40-2 8822 to keep up crew qualifications. It has been about a year since CSX last went into Boston so this run was just to keep the crews familiar with the line east of framingham. This was a nice treat as it was one of the few opportunities to see a CSX 6 axle engine east of framingham since CSX left Beacon Park Yard in Boston in 2013. This refam run is in preparation for a lage contaminated soil removal project at the old beacon park yard
