The CSX yard in Cumberland Maryland is a large complex that I found a few good spots to video from. it's a very interesting layout, as you can see from the Google shot. please enjoy the shots I was able to get. I try to get the yards from the area I'm in at the time. but some are just not accessible. I thank you for watching.

That was pretty cool , they had more loco's there than I thought . We get a train from here every day sometimes they have a bunch of locos on it going to other yards . Thanks for taking us a long Pappy.

Thats awesome. You might be able to see more now that the leaves are gone. There is a few spots at the end of the yard that would suit for railfanning. Hope you have a great time when you go.

was in harpers ferry last moth and parts of maryland may have been close to this yard and did not know it

Hello there Walter, if you drove highway 68, you went past it but Cumberland and Harpers Ferry is over an hour away from each other. This yard was hard to view. I enjoyed Harpers Ferry when I visited it. Sure hope you had a good time..
