This protocol leaves no room for temporal resolution. Injecting twice as fast or giving half that volume of contrast is required. Any amount of research into injection duration would verify this protocol is non diagnostic.
I'm just seeing this now. Test bolus uses a portion of the contrast about 25ml to time when the contrast hits. Once it's calculated then the actual contrast bonus will be administered
The maximum is not 90 that's just how much contrast that was in the injector syringe. Contrast normally comes in 50ml , 100ml, 150ml. So depending on the facility and how much they give. The ideal calculation for contrast is around 1.5ml multiply to the weight of the patient in kg.
