I found this in my archive and know that all of those who know Megan Smith and/or General Magic alumni will enjoy seeing it in its entirety. Megan worked with me and was an ally and mentor as I had just arrived in California from "back east." It is amazing that today she still has that same youthful energy and enthusiasm. So many of the people from General Magic went on to work on many parts of Internet revolution --- in the smart phone arena, this included Andy Rubin (Danger and now Android), and Tony Fadell (who led the first iPod work with Steve Jobs that is now part of the iPhone heritage). Back in these days as you can see, we were at the earliest days on the work on all of the 'parts' that are now in all of our smart phones. At that time, Megan was the lead Mechanical Engineer for the General Magic Magic Cap platform and reference hardware, as well as part of the core Alliance management team for the Device partners (like Sony, Motorola, Philips, Apple and others).
