Small dosa but price too high plus congested place ,some servers are rude thy behave as if we are eating for free ... Coming to taste it's ok thy have maintained well
It depends on the time and queue we get our dose.sometimes it is horrible.Thick like rubber.Dose is very small.Just name and lot of people standing in Q.
Places like this,vidyarthi bhavan and mtr are just over hyped.. they are priced high, their quantity is less and of all god knows y they add soda or something that it makes you feel bloated for hours.. There are many normal darshinis serving better doses than these ppl. A coffee is 50 rs in MTR I mean isn't that crazy..
CTR and Vidyarthi Bhavan have history and following. The Dosas are nice and crispy outside and soft inside. As a package - dosa , potato palya and chutney there are many small hotels who are better than these two restaurants. There is too much hype. It is good to go and taste them but it is not the holy grail of dosas by any measure.
I went to this hotel today . Being Sunday there was big queue. It took nearly 30 to 40 minutes to get entry into hotel. Ordered Benne Dosa/ Kesari Bath ( Sweet) & Coffee. None of these were good. There was no taste in any of those 3 items. Even the Coffee was below par. Absolute waste of time & money here. There are other hotels in Malleshwaram which serve better Masala Dosa. I think this hotel is over hyped. The Benne Dosa in Vidyarthi Bhavan along with chutney is much better & tasty. CTR hotel can best be avoided.
