I've found this recording I made while cleaning out my hard drive.
This newscast marks the 10 year anniversary of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games, which were originally aired on CTV. Mi-Jung Lee and Scott Roberts anchored the newscast from the Richmond Oval, which originally served as the venue for speed skating. Although this newscast took place in 2020, this newscast was taken before COVID was widespread outside of China. It's kinda weird seeing something taken in 2020 and people not observing any form of social distancing or preventative measures.
The 10th anniversary newscast takes a retrospective look at the Games and the legacy it brought.
Canadian viewers will also remember the endless two week onslaught of "I Believe" by Nikki Yanofsky, which served as the CTV anthem for the Games. Well for this newscast, CTV brought it back in all of its glory.
