CU Players React To Coach Prime’s Rule: Jersey Numbers MUST Be Earned 

1st player you interviewed summed it up beautifully. He truly understands what's expected. Great points made by the young man. Also appreciated hearing the perspective from a previous player from the team.

I love this kid who said he was on the team last year and really likes the new changes. There's been a lot of haters from last year!

As a Marine that's how we do things. At boot camp we were considering recruits until we earned the title Marine. It makes the reward better when you earn something.

The equipment manager still has his ring from the nineties! "Back in the day when we had warriors," he said. These are the new warriors that we're seeing prepare.

I liked how the player from last year has embraced the change(s). He feels the passion... Everybody isn't open to change.

Loved interview by former buff player in Green jersey. He spoke volumes.

I went to a Tony Robins seminar years ago and one of his statements stands out. Try to accomplish something every day no matter how small. Making these kids work for everything, even they're number is building work ethic and character. Nothing is given. Pressure makes DIAMONDS.

When you actually work and earn something, you tend to value and appreciate it more.

Coach Prime is just establishing what it takes to be ELITE!

The big guy in the green "specialist" jersey was spot on. Love that these guys understand that they gotta bust their butts to get a number.

This method of old school teaching is what the sport needs. Best to start them learning this NOW vs. LATER

It's definitely on point love the mindset of Coach Prime. Most kids today have this false sense of entitlement. Hopefully they will learn from this experience and become better young men.

Class Act TPS not putting that Lineman on Front St. Neely, you're pretty close to Coach, something's been on my mind about Gunner since that last mtg at the Indoor Tennis Facility. Coach was correct in his assumption...it was about the ball. From today to the start of the season, things are gonna be tight, and many will be busy. I'm pretty much a Canine Whisperer and owner of an AMSTAFF Terrier. Just pass on to Coach that if he's to busy for Gunner on some days and he's at the Facility and caged? Cartoons and Animal vids or movies will mesmerize him and not bore him until you have time for him. I'd even create a YT channel for him with nothing but Balls, and Animal Movies and just let 'em run (loop) anytime he's caged. Harrison's Fords "Call Of The Wild" would blow his mind....it did for my Dog 😂. Just a little FYI....SkoBUFFS!!!!

The first thing that came to mind when the young man said zero was when the interviewer called Coach Prime by Deion. Coach Prime asked him not to. The interviewer said ok then said Deion. Coach Prime walked out of the interview. It’s about respect and listening

I'm interested in knowing how they felt during the first team meeting with Coach, why did they decide to stay at CU? how they feel about Coach Prime and the changes that he's made, specifically, the earn their numbers rule. Do they think this adds to the pressure that already exists and are they ready for the challenge after playig for other coaches that were not as demanding as Coach Prime. Also, who's the guy that stood up and asked for #0?

Nobody feels like they have to make every play. These guys are there to ball out and make plays and do their own jobs. This will be exciting for them when another player step up and balls out when they were unable to make the play. They also are going to celebrate others making big plays. Its starting to becoming a team of MEN and ballers!

This man is laying the blueprint how to build your football team. But I don’t know if anybody else can do it like this. Because he is Coach prime. I think it’s great. I don’t agree with transfer portal. But that’s not on him that’s on the NCAA assholes for letting happen. I am a Missou fan but will most definitely be rooting for the Bufs this year.
