Pleased to add my comment about how much i appreciate your video. I was about to load my mower onto the truck for a trip to the repair shop because of a no start issue. I ran over one of the dog's Kong toys last Fall and the mower sputtered to a stop. I thought it might be related to one of the interlocks but did not think of checking the deck chute. Sure enough, thanks to your video, i checked it and the chute cover was damaged from its encounter with the Kong. Repaired the damage and we're back in business! Thanks!
Thanks so much. My husband has his Club Cadet for a month or 2 and it was working. He stopped it and it wouldn't restart. He couldn't figure anything out from the manual and I found your video. It was either the side button or the sparkplug, because he did them both before getting back on and now it works. THANKS!
I could kiss you man. Bought mine brand new and spent 2 hours trying to find out why it wouldn’t move. Nothing in starter guide about the pin in the back!
I had an issue where mine wouldn't start last fall so i just put it away till this season. Just knowing how to move it without dragging it is MAGICAL. I haven't tried anything yet, but this is soooo informative. I really appreciate you making the video! I'm confident I can find the issue on my own now. Thank you
Vegas Dave TV, you just saved me a haul to the repair shop, not to mention the eventual bill. I knew about the seat safety switch, but you showed me that fussy one on the discharge chute. Thanks a whole bunch!!!
Dude! thank you so much on this video. I really did not have time to dig deep into my mower and was getting ready to send to a repair shop. You saved me a bunch of money and time. It would not start and i did not know about that sensor.
For the side discharge safety switch, you can press it in, drill a small hole, and put a pin in it so it won't give you problems anymore. I believe there is a video out there showing how to do it. Being a CC30H owner since 2016 I had problems with this for years before i found a solution.
My no start issue was because the side discharge cover/plastic was not pushing up against the PIN. Once i reseated it, she started right up! Thanks!! for that, and the disengage the hydrostatic transmission tip!
Thank you. Thank you thank you. Your video let me fix my non starting 30 inch cub cadet. I had taken the blade cover off to look at the blade. Then put the cover back on and it wasn't right against that safety switch thing. You saved me. Thanks
October in Connecticut means time outside with extra yard duties. I like to mulch the leaves and this is the first time using my Cub Cadet. Several passes are needed to do the job including a tgas refill. Then would not start up. Checking seat switch, working good but the saw a piece of branch stuck in the mulch cover near the switch area. So took off the wing nuts, cleaned off any grass along with the branch and put the cover back on. Mower started, problem solved.
I got this same model. I had it for 2 years. Last year it started hard at times and would blow white smoke some after getting it going. What would cause that? Any possibilities to look out for?
I just got mine in yesterday and today I mowed for the first time until the bags were full I stopped emptied the bags and filled the gas up and got back on and it does nothing. The switch on the side and seat are fine, and I can’t find anything wrong. The transmission switch in either direction won’t let it roll so it was a pain to get back to the garage. No idea why
For anyone that might care the clutch/brake pedal pushes into another safety switch located under mower near the one for the mowing inserts. The pin had come off not allowing it to be pressed in. Had to remove the deck to find the issue but it’s all fixed now.
my mower starts, but will not stay running. I have siphoned out the gas, added new gas, taken off the fuel filter. I would clean the pins in the carb but cannot open the bowl. can you help?
here should be a blot under the. carb bowl, unscrew that and look for the jet, if the jet is clogged and you cant see through it stick a thin pin through it and it should help
Only had this for a month started up and worked perfectly fine the first few weeks but now it won’t start up even after making sure the safety switches are engaged. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated.
Hey, my cub cadet 30cc h quit running while I was mowing , I thought it was out of gas so I went to get the gas can and of course it was hot outside so I popped in the house a minute to cool off. Well it started raining and I forgot the gas cap wasn't on it and the seat what's up and so it rained and rained and rained for every day I had I could be off for about 3 weeks so I have drained the gas twice. The tank out with cloth to make sure I was getting it all I change the fuel filter and the spark plug and when I crank when I try to crank it it still does the same thing as a day at shut off it'll turn over and turnover and turn over but won't crank what could be the problem now
I was mowing like normal. Suddenly mower started to cutout as if it was running out of gas. It wasn’t but I put more gas in it just in case. Tried to start it again completely dead! Checked seat switch, blade in gage switch, Shute switch, and brake switch. All were fine. Jumped solenoid switch it engaged so battery is fine. I didn’t let it turn enough to start. It’s got me stumped. Just wondering if any other ideas before I have to load it up and haul it to the dealer. Thanks in advance
@@vegasdavetv well yeah I watched it all checked all the switch’s and made sure they are all working and making contact. The only thing I haven’t checked is if there is a switch for the brake pedal to be sure if it is completely depressed before starting. I don’t see one but I have not disassembled the plastic panels to see if there is one hidden underneath that isn’t visible from the top side. Is there an easy way to find such a switch without disassembling the body panels? Thanks in advance.
I think ( and hope ) my battery is just dead. It ran fine all last summer and it sat in my garage all winter. Now this spring I try to start it. The light comes on when I have the key in but no click. No try to start up. Nothing. Then after a little bit, I try to turn the key again and it doesn’t light up. I’m kinda a newb to these small engines. What do I need to get to check and charge the battery? How do I jump start this without killing it? Thanks Oh. And how could the battery die from just sitting in my garage?
your battery is gone, mine did to over winter. put a charger on it or get a new one. I suggest getting a trickle charger and leave it on battery all winter, that won't happen anymore
@@vegasdavetv thanks for the reply and suggestion. Ironically I feel better knowing it’s something that simple rather than one of the switches being bad..
Does this mower have a fuse? Am getting ready for spring now, battery was going weak and i think i tried to jump with car bAttery. I see some Cub Cadets have a 20A fuse. Schematics i have looked at doesn’t show a fuse. Just checked seating of deck switch and it wasn’t seated, but is now. I am not even getting light to turn on. trying to find my multi meter right now to test and/or bypass the safety switches, or even see if power is going that far. No headlight, no nada. Thoughts? (i think i have 2018/2019 model.
Hi Dave, I was hoping to hear my problem but did not so hear goes, I have the same mower and when I turn the key to the right and back center for reverse the light comes on but sometimes it will go off, and sometimes over and over once I start moving in reverse, can you help with this?
Hello Dave I like to say thanks you were also right, I didn't thank it could be, because it was sometimey, but I put my hand under the ignition switch , and just push around on the wires and never had a problem since, thank you very much. thumbs up to you helpful youtubers.
Question? CC30H will go forward, the reverse switch will in engage. The red light will not light up. Does my RCM module need to be replaced? How do you troubleshoot the switch?
Why do you use a very bright flashlight , which drowns out the object you want to emphasize ? Go look at the videos and you will see what I mean. Also why don't you use natural outside light to shoot your videos ?? Getard
