In this vid I am replacing the rear wheel drive belt on my Cub Cadet self propelled lawn mower. Let's see what's involved as it's a first for me too . Cheers !!!
I appreciate your hard work on the video while you did this also...you do good work on both...Thank you again for this Steve Rob....now I can fix mine fore sure...Peace to you and yours...and a good day.
I will show how much grass I cut with it this summer and I think I was off a bit , probably a bit more than an acre LOL Its one hour of non stop cutting and loving it. HAHA
That belt looked really well to have five years of usage Steve. I just changed by drive belt for the blades on my riding mower about two weeks ago. Your didn't look too bad of a job to change whereas I've got to pull the entire deck out :) Now you're good for five more years :)))
that mower looks good for the workout you gave it and a new belt and its like a timex it keeps on working....very good for the ones that are scarred of this type of job....SALUTE
Love my 12 volt Milwaukee 1/4 inch Ratchet. Use it always and glad to see you using one. It is my number one ratchet and i have way to many nice Snap on Ratchets & tools.. Nice Video.
The wear mark will be from belt slack , a pull belt with no idler will wip on the slack side if it gets to worn next would be it jumping off a pulley but you replaced it before it done that.
Bruce Pender Lift hahaha. Steve's small engine repair. Good job. I myself am not a fan of self propel stuff but now that I am not as young as I used to be they are becoming more attractive. That wear spot may be just stuff flying around in there too.
Bruce Pender lift? WTH? LOL You need to take a riding mower up their! Do you sharpen your blades? I do with my hand grinder in a vice. TIP, if you spray PAM cooking spray under their on the deck before you mow you can just wash off the clippings easy. They can't stick. Just came to me sorry I had to say it. Looks like a belt keeper spring. You drained all the gas and fuel out of it? It takes both? LMAO.... I just love these small type videos. They are really helpful to most folks. Talk dirty Steve! LOL
Hi Steve. Much Beer tonight. This what I hopefully never have to do. Shit you have totake the plade off............oooh I see muuucg spelling mistakes..good thing I;m drunk so I don't care Lol
20acres? And the lawn mower keeps going. Nice. Always working ... Steve. Very busy, cleaning, changeing those belts yourself... :-)) For me it would be super hard to do it. :-))
Great vid Brother. So now ya gotta stop at the curb a few times for some of those sidewalk stories and resurrect a few. Show a pull cord repair. In this vid Steve's gonna repair a mower he picked up and after he repairs it, he's gonna give it away. Only thing ya gotta come ta Canada ta get it.
i have a husqvarna 22'' with 7 3/4 hp kubota kholer engine 2 years old but im looking into a Kubota W821SC with solid shaft drive instead of belts from UK wich it cost $999.00 wich im planing hopefuly perchuse in the feature or a WG14-36 wich coost $3,923.00from olsan power equipment US
yeah the husqvarnas parts got joined with kubota because kubota parts are on market selling the cheapest price then other brand parts in the market wich kubota is growing more every year
Jim when I seen Bruce with his I just had to go to Princess Auto and get one. It's a terrific help with small engine repair and I weld on it as well to get in the right position. It also matches the height of my pickup to unload and load heavy items.
Dwight the belt still worked but I thought Id change it and kept the old one for a spare. Didn't look that wore after all the grass cutting over the years.
