Hey not really on the same topic but do you think rache bartmoss can possibly be alive in the net and be associated with mr blue eyes? Wasn’t bartmoss main goal was to crash the net and also install himself in the net? And didn’t he say his plan wasn’t finished? I think this could be a good theory video with some pretty good evidence for the theory but that’s just my opinion. Loved the video Aguilar would be cool to interact with in Orion!
I question the decision to have matching gender with our player character... also it's kinda obvious that for plot and gameplay purposes, the people in the game and universe need to have awareness of the appearance of the character, however then because of that I'd rank him below someone like... agent 47, in which on the lore of that universe, nobody even know he exists in the first place.
It is clear that "Auguilar," is definitely a new concept that will possibly be expanded upon in Cyberpunk Orion in someway. Aside from that the concept alone is very interesting and mysterious funny thing is that was also the first time I did the mission where you assume the mantle of Aguilar yesterday. I am personally inclined to the theory that "Auguilar," is some type of title or alas used by multiple people as that would explain the ability to have multiple people die in many continents making the death count very high but also reasonable. But that wouldn't fully explain the mysterious text you get from, "Auguilar," so it is possible that "Auguilar," is also just a very mysterious and deadly person. Either way very interesting indeed. Also keep up the lore videos I do highly enjoy them.
possibly, we all know that Aguilar is popular not only because of their name, but also because of some Cuban cartel backing them up, i really hope they expand more about the "cartel" in question, because even Barghest and the VDBs are afraid of them
@@squigglesmcjr199 If anything, Aguilar seemed impressed at how V handled the situation. They might still kill us but out of respect and challenge rather than an eye for an eye
I absolutely enjoyed the missions impersonating Aguilar. The female version has the coldest voice I've ever heard and it really fits an assassin. Anyone has an info on who the voice actress is?
Would be interesting if he's been using the Cuban cartel and the concept of Aguilar as a proxy to control Hansen. Or if he was Aguilar at some point and retired the title to someone else
@@LayedBackGamers he never directly said he was from the cartel, but he said he wanted to get rid of Hansen and install a puppet as his successor, but this puppet was legitimated by Aguilar and the cartel. If you think about it - who says that there even is a cartel? Sounds like a mysterious threat from afar… Mr Hands has kind of a 1984 scheme going on. He’s untouchable, a puppet master. No a y Banda. There is no band. I think Mr Hands nurtured the whole myth of the cartel, but he was Aguilar. The guy bet everything on himself.

To add to that, my impression is that only the NUS has that disguise and personality tech (though I could be very wrong as well)…making me think either Hands is/was Aguilar and passed the mantle to V under the guise of a job, or it’s a kind of false flag agent that is passed around and changed just like the 007 title
@@auroraflash That sounds like an interesting idea, but then if he was Aguilar, why send the text after the mission, especially if V did an exceptional job of it? To keep the mystery up and make V think the original is interested? To relive a moment of his past for old time sake? It would be interesting if there is a Cuban cartel and Mr. Hands is connected to it either as Aguilar or in another way. They show interest in Dogtown and contact Hands, who then lets them know he will take care of it since he too is interested in Dogtown and how it runs. Hands has V do the deed as Aguilar and then relays the info back to the cartel. Aguilar (or Hands being sentimental) hears about it and sends the text to V a few days later. Extra point if Hands being Aguilar depends on if V is male. If V is female, then maybe Aguilar is an associate, or possibly a spouse (ex-spouse even) and learns of the outcome afterwards and then asks Hands for your contact info to send their message. I mention spouse because we know Hands has a kid when you go to visit him during one of the missions and he is talking with them about helping to find the family pet (I think?) before you open the door.
maybe Aguilar is the 'tital' of whoever is the top assassin of the cartells? a bit like the 'dread pirate Roberts' one day, Aguilar decideds it is time to rest...so they take on a new trainee, train them up how to walk, talk and kill, just like Aguilar. then, one day, they both go off for a holiday and when they come back, the younger one is now sporting the Aguilar look, and the older one is now different. (signature suit, facial cyberwear and weapon) and the old one is refering to the young one as 'Aguilar' around everyone else.
I think the face morphing tech will be a part of the next game for sure. And we have to be playing as V again because Aguilar wants to meet and fight him/her. It has to happen. I want to see the real Aguilar in action. Little tidbits like this expand the lore so much. Who knew Havana/Cuba would become so important to the Cyberpunk future.
That'd be dope asf! Especially if V has to fight her! I really want more back story of Aguilar! If they continue Vs story depending on what ending you did I'd absolutely would face morphing back! 🤘
Poles know what's up! We have a cult comedy film called Kiler, where a random cab driver accidentally impersonates a notorious mob killer and gets entangled in all sorts of trouble. In the second part, there's a South American guerilla called Jose Antonio Morales coming to Poland to do a job. Both the accent and demeanor vaguely resemble that of Aguilar. In the movie everyone's afraid of Kiler, but in reality he's just a random dude.
The lore of Aguilar remains to be mysterious, however I expect this to be expanded further in the future since he/she wants revenge against V for “imitation”. Or… we get to play as them in the future. Aguilar might not even be any one person . I theorize that there is a clandestine group within the Cuban Cartel and Aguilar Nubiola is a title bestowed upon the most ruthless of killers within the group.
i think agular was merely warning v basically telling them that "it was funny but next time you do that well see whos the real algular" I guess they were impressed enough by the act to let it slide for once

Kind of a missed opportunity on the new face shifting implant. That should enable the player to turn into other major NPCs in the game. Which will be tons of fun.
Yeah would have been cool if when you activated the behavioral implant faceplate you would actually change into Aymeric or Auraore or Aguilar with some unique voice lines. And thinking about it it’s kinda weird that all the people V can change into names start with an A.

This character made me wanna have more info about Aguilar, the guns effect I like but it also makes me question what did hands do to get a chip for V to use the imprint. Hands also when you met him for the first in the club had a little chat about his son I think? Where she can’t find him or something.
This was an amazing mission. By the endgame, V should be commanding that sort of respect Aguilar has but to the end, some Scav nobody keeps thinking they can zero him. It was incredibly cool to see V intimidate warlords and gangs with just a quiet word. It's Oscar worthy acting! Of course, I'd like to have a personal visit from the real Aguilar, but have the option for V to defuse him by showing him how respectful his acting was and the positive effect on Dogtown his little stint did. Then Aguilar would offer V a job as an understudy so that he could take a vacation lol
I prefer (even tho I'm a male shocker right) female V over the male version. I feel imo that female Vs voice actor and same with Aguilars did a better job then their male counterparts (more emotions and feelings in each voice line they push out).
I think in the next cyberpunk game we're going to be interacting with aguilar in some way. I'd imagine either killing them or working with them in some capacity,

¡Amazing content! The idea of Aguilar as a concept wouldn't be alien to any culture of Hispanic origin, as this was what Iberic chieftains have done when they fought the Romans in the Antiquity. Something that did irk me in the game was the fact the voice actors pronounced the name "Aguilar" as "Agüilar", because, in Spanish, the "u" is mute, unless it carries the diaeresis, which is the "¨" on a vowel.

was fun playing as a female Aguilar and how she was treated with respect & fear as a head of state that said I'd be concerned for hands I'm sure the real one won't be happy when news of her being in Dogtown reaches her
I'm still creeped out by the fact that the real Aguilar contacted you. Where did they get your contact? How did they know you're the one disguising? Mr Hands? Oh the mystery
Mr Hands sold you for some reason. There is no other explanation. Maybe Aguilar found about some imposter, contacted the most fitting fixer, Mr. Hands thought "this is the easiest task in my life" and gave information.
Doubt mr hands would sell us out he’s not stupid and he has great respect for V and knows what there capable of and that they wouldn’t be to thrilled about being sold out
We stole the relic from Arasaka, worked with the best fixers in the city, dealed with gangs, created a threat to companies, saved the president and killed Kurt Hansen, head of dogtown. I mean, we killed a lot of people too, but they weren't afraid of us as much as they were afraid of Aguilar. Why?

How do I complete the Auqillar mission. I have the suit and gun, got a threaten message and the suit still has the ! symbol. Has anyone figured this out?
I think the weirdest part of adding it is the implications going forward. I mean seriously, this tech is insane. It just makes the whole confusion of is anyone actually who they say? Pretty risky tech to toss into the lore...
@@LayedBackGamerswell paranoia is one of core cyberpunk themes and not without a reason.Constant Manipulations and schemes,impersonation via faceplate,AI or engrams etc. So I would say it s rather fitting.
I bet if anyone knows this its you, are there any perma-death rpg mods for cyberpunk 2077, and if not what do i need to start modding this game to make a mod like this????
I've tried to look for one but haven't found a permanent death mod or anything. So the only real way to do is it just delete the save or not touch it again. To try to pick up modding for 2077 or just learning about what's going on, there's a "Cyberpunk 2077 modding community" on Discord you'll find in a Google search. Has something like 66k members. For the TTRPG, definitely join the R. Talsorian Discord. They have it set up extremely well to find groups for The Witcher and Cyberpunk sessions
tbh this is the one character that I didn't really like the way they executed their narrative.... It was pretty much no show and all tell... In my mind I was like ( yeah sure, sounds bs )
V is just the best possible Merc, while some may use their Sandevistan to slow down time, V will roll back as much time as he needs to achieve his goal, and no matter how many times you may beat him, he will always win the war.
