Mr. Blue Eyes wants the client data of everyone in the Crystal Palace. I'm just speculating, but perhaps the best way to access that server involves penetrating the structure from the outside.

​@@rockmanraiden6627Could also be a way of bypassing security inspections, as they'd probably check everyone coming on board by Spaceship. One little guy floating in from a far distance could be more undetectable

That’s because he can borg up and not deal with cyber psychosis. In the TTRPG V wouldn’t be half as powerful as he is. He’s the equivalent of multiple epic level characters. You can fill every available slot with cyber ware, craft infinite ammo and carry dozens of weapons, medical aid, grenades and ashtrays.

I've always assumed that his Empathy stat (hidden obv.) is canonically maxed out. Which, in line with the mechanics they based 2077 on, would give V an ability to 'borg' up to the levels of Smasher, David M, and Shaitan.

@@angel8fingers Yeah, in a decade of running the TTRPG in the '90's I only ever had a handful of player's characters start with a maxed out EMP stat in the mindset of 'borging' out. Out of those few (most PCs in 2020 TTRPG didn't survive more than a campaign or two...) only 3 went full chrome successfully - in ten years of weekly four hour(ish...) game sessions. (One of who went on to be the leader of a band of young edgerunners trying to smuggle the first self-aware human clone across the U.S.A. )

That would be love and it was the plan until they changed thier minds on two expansions. I have those two are now condensed into Phantom Liberty.

i would love to get another expansion & see what else they could squeeze out of this game. As much as i’m looking forward to what they do w/Orion, i’m not ready to leave 2077 anytime soon

@@tlungu962 I don't get the "only one DLC" thing. Seems like they spent so much time getting 2077 to work that they'd like to recoup some of that investment. And I too would love to see more cities, and learn more about the politics beyond Night City. Though Phantom Liberty will probably bring us a fuller view of the NUSA

Ehh crystal palace offers so much more chooms once that thing gets hit it's a war all of them don't want each other in the palace and they're very open about the hatred they have for the other being a part of it that I also see the crystal palace being a super weapon fuck if Elon musk can throw a laser cannon on the bottom of his satellites in our reality imagine wtf that thing got....

Maybe we'll get more of it in Phantom Liberty. You never know

From a grumpy old TTRPG GM perspective I hope they don't allow V to survive. Night City destroys everything, that spends time there, eventually. It's been cursed since its founder died. From a hoary gamer PoV, that has grown attached to his original playthrough character, I really hope they do something like you suggest.

@@paulleach3612 With how Militech is tied to NUSA and the focus of Phantom Liberty i think V will become Adam Smasher of Militech, immune to Cyberpsychosis bcs of the relic legendary solo. He/she will be free from imminent death, but forced to work for militech hence Phantom Liberty. Oh and i don't think Smasher is dead-dead, there's for sure his engram somewhere well hidden ready to be slotted into new body.

We probably don't have any relative size comparison for it

The Ghost City is the old net for Hong Kong. Which is now locked beyond the black wall with a majority of the old net. It's essentially a safe haven for rogue AI, soulkilled individuals, etc. There's a lot of ghost towns and I believe the Kang Tao city is just one of many

Put the game on hardest setting, take off all the assists in settings that you can, play the game, you must eat twice and drink twice in every 24 hr period, you must sleep once every 48 hrs for at least 4 hours (unless drinking coffee or using stims that last until timer runs out at which point you can use it again but only up to three times), every implant you get after your seventh - toss a coin - if it lands tails then game over as you went cyberpsycho. If you die, just once, game over. (Unless due to a glitch, or the opening chapter where you "die" Obv.) *This should make it much closer to what playing as a PC in the Cyberpunk 2020 TTRPG version was like.* I've had a good giggle running my own characters through it, death after bloody and gruesome death...

Nah keeping V as the center would probably be the best choice imo especially after all the insane and legendary shit he's pulled of,f he'd be too valuable for corps, military or Mr Blue Eyes to just die and be finished with and if the next game starts in crystal palace and some how ends in Vs engram being transferred to a new body, all the more better.

I wonder if the game had ended up getting its original three DLC, if any of them would've included the Crystal Palace or some other locations outside of Night City

That's my theory. That The Palace Heist is going to be the opening/tutorial level of Cyberpunk 2 and that the story will either be set there entirely or will progress back to Earth at some point.

I don't believe that's depressurization. From what I can tell and how it's releasing, it's more likely just propulsion systems so he can move around in zero gravity

​@@LayedBackGamersit is a propulsion system. It's both visually and functionally identical to the real life mechanism on IRL spacesuits. Short busts of CO2 to accelerate in Zero Gravity. V is just hitting it hard because of the distance he has to cross. So it ends up looking like a jet rather than a brief puff.
