Just received a box of Partagas Serie P No. 2 that was boxed in May 2019 so while not extremely young, they’ll still be better off in my humidor for a little while before I dig into them. Enjoy!
No, it depends on the country where they’re imported and sold. UK, Switzerland and Canada are three in which their government mandates health stickers be affixed upon import and prior to sale. Tabacuba tax labels are affixed before the larger barcoded and holographic authenticity guarantee seal. Sometimes they’re visible just below that seal. You can barely make out the raised lower portion of the seal in this video. The bottom of the box is burned in and the boxing date is stamped in ink. I’ve purchased all over the world for nearly 30 years and can assure you I do not but counterfeits.
I noticed all your boxes are sealed..I am about to place an order and they ask if you would like them inspected. I have read where some people recommend having them inspected. Curious your take on whether I should have them inspected or have them shipped sealed.
Hey Chris. I’m not a fan of having cigar boxes opened before shipping. That to me gives n opportunity to send fakes by changing bands on non Cuban cigars. I trust that they will be in good condition if they come from a reputable vendor. I am hesitant to buy from anyone offering to open them for you.
@@ChrisHerath My pleasure. Give Cubanlous.com a look. They guarantee their shipments and always send them with a Boveda packet to retain freshness during transit.
Jack is not in the box Partagas has a few different box presentation variations. Some are plain cedar, some are paper wrapped with artwork and others are varnished cedar. Neither presentation takes away from the product though 😉
