The R33 GTR V-spec was the only thing that could well and truly outrun the GTO Twin turbo, and even then that was down to the R33 not weighing as much as the moon and bogging down off the start. I scared the piss out of my brothers after fiddling with its gearing and getting it to light all four tires instead of falling into turbo lag and just disappearing before they could get out of first gear.
GTO Twin Turbo '95 is a good car (in fact these car are upgradeable into 930HP) especially in the Test Course and High Speed Ring, but these car is a Overweight Sports Car (In fact this car has mass 1710 Kg, it's very heavy to drive and possibility to understeer is very high) So I prefer to Acura NSX Type S Zero instead, as these car have mass only 1270 Kg, so you can drive it easily (thanks to these lightweight car). GTO Twinturbo = Heavy like a 🐷
This song used to really scare me for some reason as child. For some reason the way each element is beginning is layered it always made me think that the first sound that plays was like some far off monster in a dark hallway trying to lure you to it and then the hi hats kick into really kick up the tension and suspense and then the next sound reminded me of people like yelling for help. Freaked me out as kid dude

Good song. Hit 435km/h using a R32 GT-R on the test course by catching the slipstream of the leader in the max speed race. Also got 409KMH out of a NSX Type S Zero with same trick

Damn this brings back memories. I had a cousin stay with me for the week and told me to buy Gran Turismo we played it for hours and passed it within a day or 2. We had started off with a used Mitsubishi blue GTO and picked up all the licenses then owned all the races in the game.
That high pitched metallic noise in there, My parent's used to have a guillotine that needed oiling and squeaked exactly the same as that, and every time i played the game and this song came on i always thought they were cutting paper again. amazing memories from my childhood. Me and my father used to share the controller, i'd steer and he'd accelerate/brake. Good times.
This song oddly reminds me of an Acura Integra, or a Toyota Mr2 in the special stage route (forgot the name of that course... It's one of the night courses)
Classic car. I've been playing forza 3 lately and recreated its look with the racing modification. The horsepower is at 720 hp, but it does 0-100 in 5 seconds. Unfortunately it goes 230 max and doesnt reach the speed till like 15-20 seconds on a straightway. The closest recreation I could make.
YEAH! I played that game, i was like 14-15. Together with my friend in holidays two weeks in a row. Now i playing it again. But i do... maybe one race or two, and then i think "shit.... maybe it is better do prepare for univesity, or maybe i have to clean something, or.... or.... or...." ....miss that time
If you see with critical eye... the HD mode Graphics can match the PS2 graphics in a low-mid band.... this game was the best of the best in graphics (in any console in its time) and gameplay, "Comprehensive and Complex, this racing game is unrivaled".
GT1 = f*cking great game! So, the best to do to get nice cars is 1) get licenses 2) buy a used white supra (it's old) 3) ear cash 'till u can buy a Dodge Viper 4) earn more and more cash until you receive a Chaser LM as a prize 5) more and more cash till u earn the GTO LM and TUNE IT TO THE HELL U WONT LOSE ANYMORE
Good days... school was easy, math was just numbers, not a trouble. Arrive at home and play Gran Turismo... homeworks took 10 minutes to be done, and there were no papers.

well, i liked the supra max. that was close to 1000 (the RZ) and then... i stumbled across the GTO twin turbo. that thing was one of the fastest cars in that whole game. from what i remember the cosmo and rx7 were pretty quick too. i still have my game, and memory card. last car i won, was the castrol supra black edition.
hehe yeah! Viper is still my favorite car today (would like to buy one in some years :D) but the GTO was the fastest! :D i reached more than 400 km/h (more then 249mph) with it :D GT fucking rocks! ^^
weird how this is their best sound track when they had the least amount of resources. it shows you passion > resources. or, musicians were just less abused at this point in history
lol, my fav car is the skyline XD i have 52 of them on Gran Turismo 4, all max tuned, (including the ones that cost 550k and 1350k XD) i spent like 30-40 mil on skylines XD
