Today on The Railway Room is a look at Cuckoo Junction, a large freelance OO gauge model railway with 009 narrow gauge feeder line.
The model depicts a junction station with loco depot and turntable, with the main line narrowing to a single line swing bridge on one side. The buildings are exchangeable, allowing the model to represent a fictitious location in a number of different areas of the UK, which allows a wide variety of rolling stock to be run. In this video of a typical running session, the layout is set up as Hillington Constable Jn, supposedly on the former M&GN section of BR's Eastern Region.
