Wow that Bible verse was so encouraging to me. Graduate school is difficult and I'm doing long distance, and I want this season to be over. I'm trying to be content with where God has put me in this season. "I will wait on the Lord..."
I'm in a similar situation where my fiance is in the Navy & got sent to Virginia and I'm stuck here and it's been one thing after another and lots of tears for us both so I needed to hear this too lol
I'm not super religious but I always find the way you explain the bible verses so encouraging and helpful. It's definitely easy to get discouraged when you have big dreams, but it's little things like this that make it seem more attainable. So thank you for that! 😊💕
Hi Kristin, I’m serious and I mean this to the nth degree: You and Marcus inspire me and encourage me that life will work out if you put God at the center of your life. My girlfriend and I are currently in a long distance relationship as well and hearing how you guys endured through that and how you both trusted God’s will, it’s amazing. Aww Kristin , I love when you talk about God. I’ve been stressed all day about school and where I’m going to be after undergrad. But your encouraging words really make me rethink about how God has gotten me this far and he’s still leading me in the right direction.

I’m not religious, I’ve never gone to church or really believed in anything but every time you read a psalm or devotion and then explain it or what it means to you i feel so at ease and reassured about things in my life! Idk what that means for me but thank you for the reassurance that everything will always turn out okay!!

That thought about a quote is so true!!! I think the same thing.. sometimes we just have to wait because things happen when God thinks it’s right bot when we think is right and I feel that so much lately and I sometimes feel annoyed to but it goes away when I know that God maybe has something better than what I wanted. Actually this made me remember your wedding video, when Marcus said “good things come for those who wait, that never felt so true” so that proves that if you are patient God will reward you so good! I’ve been wanting to move in with my boyfriend of 3 and a half years but the timing never seems right and I keep trying to rush into it. When the time is right, it will be right. The encouragement at the end helped me right now! I got hit by a car and have been out of work for a month, and I will be out for at least another month. I am filing for disability now and there will be a slim chance that I’ll be able to keep my apartment and I was like this needs to go faster, the people hopefully respond faster and all these things were running through my mind. That verse was PERFECT! I’m going to write it on my mirror when I get home💗

Thank you Kristin that was very helpful to hear. I am a college student and I sometimes get impatient and discouraged to continue because of the long process and work. It is good to hear this, timing and being patient is important to remind oneself. The funny thing too is I was wondering today whether you were going to post a video. Hi Kristin, you may not even see this, but I thought I would give it a try. Ive grown up in a Christian Home and I accepted to Christ when I was in the 3rd grade! And I am now 20 so it’s been a long time haha but I am constantly struggling in my commitment the past few years and I just really wanted to thank you for not being afraid to show people your religion and for not being afraid to speak out about your struggles! Ironically, I have been struggling lately with waiting on God's timing. I feel as though He pulled me to watch the video until the very end to hear you talk about not being impatient and putting all of yourself into waiting on the Lord. He really does work in mysterious ways.
