What Daniel actually got there to show (17:48) is the Solanum sessiliflorum called Cocona around here, not the actual lulo, which is way more juicier, green inside and smaller than his fruit.

In Costa Rica we call lulo 'naranjilla' (Solanum quitoense)

Jacote is called " hog plum ", in the Caribbean.. and the pejibaye, is called, " Pewah "... they boil it in water, peel and eat..♥️.... all the other fruits can be found in the Caribbean except Durian.... Edited: do you have a fruit called " Barahar " in Costa Rica... been looking for it, but no one seems to know of it....I think it's from India...🇺🇸♥️

I suspect you are referring to Borojo. You can find it occasionally at the market in CR. I've got plenty planted.

Jocote pejiballe are native to the americas as well tomato’s hot peppers ….potatoes…tobacco ..corn .. tobacco ….papaya ..avocados…pineapple s …many fruits fron the paradise call Latin Américas… so budy …don’t be confused
