Ross, the title of Angelico's new theme is in Afrikaans. The English translation would be "Feel The Vibe Today". Cheers from South Africa, love the podcast
Guess who's back, back again, maffews back, tell a friend.......I hope this isn't the end of Ross as maffew. Also eagerly await el hijo del Jimmy vans return next week
FTR have been the best for me this year What an all time legendary run they're having, Dax especially, loved his matches against Ospreay and Punk Best up and comer is definitely Takeshita, imagine how good he's gonna be when he's in his 30s, HD could be the next Okada if he keeps it up
It’s Dax Harwood by miles, Rollins is a good shout imo and Cody had 2 five star matches in the two biggest companies in the same year, so I think he deserved a mention even with the absences
Maffew saying he likes DS9 just confirms he's the coolest in my eyes of the cultaholic AND EVEN OSW guys. I rewatch it at least twice a year, it's just the best.
I saw Paul Chuckle DJ at Bangface back in May. He was brilliant! Played loads of 90s trance classics and was thoroughly enjoying himself, fists pumping in the air hahaha
Dax Harwood gets my vote for the half-year. That being said, I've not seen Takeshita's DDT stuff, so I've only caught him on AEW (though that was very good)
My pick is Theory. Wrestlers with little to no personality who chase star ratings don't draw, they also have to be good talkers and have personality, and for me Theory's has that. The future's bright for him.
@Reality creator 666 kNOw DON'T b3LIEv3 If it makes you feel any better I'll pick someone from AEW. So I'll pick MJF, which I can say exactly the same comment about "good talker and has personality". By the way, Dynamite and Rampage are the only weekly wrestling shows that I watch all the way through, I just skip through Raw and SD.
Best Wrestler is Jon Moxley Not only has he been great in every role he's been in AEW this year (World Champion Ace, Developmental Ceiling Raiser, High Spectacle Brawler, Underrated Tag Team guy) his work outside the company has been out of this world. Matches vs Deppen, vs Lawlor, vs Osprey, vs Busick. ALL you can make the claim that they are match of the year contenders (mixed in with the AEW wars with the JAS, Yuta, Danielson, Garcia). Jon is wrestling like a man possessed, feels and looks like a megastar every arena he's been in big or small, has made variety and quality mesh with pretty much everyone he's been in the ring with, and he's at the very VERY least top 10 Promo guy on the planet and top 5 in his own company thats currently riddled with injuries from Punk and Omega to Danielson and on and on. Special shout-outs to FTR (accounting Dax's work in conjunction with the teams tag matches) Jay White, Will Osprey, Eddie Kingston, Chris Jericho, Wheeler Yuta, Young Bucks, and Konosuke Takeshita that's made this a helluva year for as well as Bianca Belair, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and the street profits that has been what's caught my eye for WWE when I've watched it
Catching this late, weird how you guys brought up Jeff Jarretts podcast just after talking about the special referee for the tag title match, the powers of the podcast are strong
Hager did the rock bottom into the arm over choke a couple of times before so maybe that's still his thing and they didn't want Claudio to get out of the choke but who knows he almost never has singles matches or finishes the matches he's in.
I would not be surprised if Drew actually wins at Clash. Roman is barely showing up and tbh the whole long reign thing has lost its wind. Theory can get the sneaky cash in on Drew at some point before Rumble then Roman can win it back
@Reality creator 666 kNOw DON'T b3LIEv3 I wouldn't say he was botching a lot. Sloppy I disagree with too, I'd say people who can't throw a punch line Orange Cassidy are more sloppy than Punk who throws a good punch
if I gave the clue "absolutely ridiculous, over-the-top stupid BS disguised as wrestling," would i be talking about A) NXT, or B) Shanky? The answer is C) Both. And yet, Ross loves one and hates the other. Makes no sense. They're both crap and need to go the eff away. And take Theory with them.
Christian is atleast suddenly the most interesting wrestler to care about. He should have been doing this since day one being a heel. It's likely that Punk and Brian won't even have serious runs ever again.
