I have accepted one reiki seans when I was very down. I must admit that it helped for a couple of days, but then I needed more, as she also said that I must have minimum 10 times. Unfortunately, for more I had to pay and I wasn't that desperate so I didn't do more. But she was praying to "god" before doing it, so probably many believe that they do it with God's power.

Where is that in the bible, Ter? Did Jesus practice yoga? Did he say it was just ok but be mindful which kind of yoga you get into?Did Paul had a Sunday's yoga club at his place for the community? Sorry this is not true. Every Asana is linked and steeped in Hinduism. I know this as I was a devotee to a guru. I practiced all forms of yoga, and understand how this is a spiritual practice not just physical. The basic salute to the sun means salutations to the one who evokes light. They worship the sun. Research it some more. The western world, since the Beetles, has divided the religion and seperated the asanas (body movements) from the whole religion. Every body movement is linked to deities. Shiva, Shakti, Ganesh etc etc. Yoga means whole. Meaning you can't seperate the body movements from the whole spiritual practice.

​@@SuperBlakes2 We can agree to disagree.To stretch out my lower back due to spinal stenosis and a bulging disc, I do alot of similar if not the same poses. Secondly, that is like saying that people who own cats, cows and other animals worship them, as did the Eygptians. I will continue to do my stretches and exercises, as I have for the last 30 years and if people in the church don't like it, my response usually is, "stop eating too many carbs, lose weight, go for a walk and mind your own business." Works almost100% of the time.

​@@ter8330 Stretching and doing yoga, which involves certain worship poses as part of the Hindu religion, are 2 different things. If you research what yoga is, including where it came from etc. you will understand that stretching to relieve pain or simply eliminate lactic acid build up after a workout, is not yoga. Yoga is a definite practice with set ways of doing things, not just stretching.

So much so that ALL the ancients including all the Hebrews believed in that model.
