Have to agree with @NeiJiaQuanBook - you're throwing up a bit of a strawman with the 'invincible Qi' argument, (people really don't present like that, or at least they don't these days - maybe before MMA took over) but the rest of the reasoning in the video is very sound. You don't get the weird ego-based challenge culture in BJJ because you can just go an roll with somebody if you want - it's normally easy. But also, it's not a theoretical marital art, so you don't tend to find arguments about 'style'. If something works, it works, and that's that. And it's pretty easy to find out if it works.

Belief in qi shouldn't really stop people from different schools getting on, but yes it can serve as part of the base for the cultishness. I will no doubt make a video about qi in future

@@EdwardH Thanks. As much as I find TCM to be completely fascinating, I'm really annoyed as to how it got "New-Aged" and thus undermining it's credibility.
