Im crying with laughter tis was a great Movie good choice REACT 2.0 👍 He was pretty good as a straight actor, I was watching The Love Boat which he appeared in many times :)
@@gabrielesolletico6542 ... when Leslie Nielsen died, they published a hilarious obituary for the opera singer "Enrico Pallazzo" in his honor, that you can go look up.
He died when his parachute accidentally opened and got caught in the gears of a wheat thresher while he was being chased by a ravenous Laplander. It wasn't the way he wanted to go.
Leslie Nielson spent the first part of his acting career playing very serious roles, often as tough guy hero. And the rest of his career in crazy comedy roles...but still playing the serious tough guy role - saying ridiculous things in that serious, manly voice. He had GREAT comic timing, LOL! Hilarious.
Yeah was fun but as you said lots of details got lost. Especially politics. The first scene is already one of the most hilarious with arafath, Gorbachev and his birthmark. When he tries to polish off the birthmark off his head. Glorious joke.
@@TrazynnWell, honestly, they don't understand many things. I mean, the initial scene had me die laughing, and when O.J. Simpson break in the drug dealing I was even more tickled! And I'm not from America, I'm from Italy. I just happen to appreciate comicity. I was astonished that they didn't laugh once, at O.J.'s scene!
@@katerinapatiniotis5598 Im an oldie I get annoyed too, but it just generational , and traditional in their part of the World the old are respected , not placed in old age homes. Something the West forgets, along with the older generations obvious wisdom. I was young once , and I wish I listened to my elders. BUt no mistakes in life mean , no growth and experiences of your own...The generational dicotomy 👍👍
Even though the guys didn't understand half of the jokes and thought they were watching cricket, they still had a great time. Classic comedy crosses all barriers.
This is one of my favorite comedies. Watching the guys enjoy it now, laughing at all the best bits for 45 minutes, just made my day so much better. Thank you so much for genuinely improving my mood.
No. And by the time they go for Wrongfully Accused (1998) they should at least have seen North by Northwest (1959) and the Fugitive (1993) because it mainly ridicules these two movies (amongst many others)
I love how they cut through the b.s with their comments and get to the essence of the moment with choice words. Frank Derben is "praiseworthy" through his heroic actions and sacrifice. Wonderful.
The channel owner should have told them that it was a silly spoof movie instead of saying it was an action comedy. I think Babu went in thinking it would be more action-focused than comedy & kept taking it seriously. He would have enjoyed it more if he had gone in knowing it was a spoof comedy. I'm glad at least Raju & Sarru realized that it was a silly movie & enjoyed it fully. It's been a while since I saw them laughing so hard. That was wholesome. Anyway, I enjoyed the reaction a lot. 👍🏽
Oh man, it's been ages since I've seen this movie. Ridiculous piece :D Makes me wonder what will be next - Police Academy? A Bud Spencer/Terence Hill movie, like Double Trouble maybe? Wait, I've got it - The Pink Panther!!! =)
Since they already saw Weird Al's cameo here, I wonder what they'd think of his film UHF. There are some wordplay jokes that may not transfer over, but a lot of it is just the general absurdity.
They would agree that this is movie is gold. I've never seen them laugh this hard. But it also seems that they think a lof of the comedy is meant to be more random and absurd than intended due to the puns and the references not landing. Maybe it's even funnier that way.
you have GOT to show them the how to train your dragon trilogy! great relationships, great music, great story, probably my favorite trilogy of all time
This was great. I still have clear memories of when I saw Naked Gun when it first opened in the theater. I had also watched Police Squad when it aired back in 1982, and I had no idea that the film I was about to watch was a continuation of that series. Funny stuff. The young guys get the slapstick and goofiness 100%. I think it somewhat confuses poor Babu. I think that he expects all movies to be at least somewhat serious and taking place in the same type of reality that we live in. Bless you, Babu. You might not get slapstick but you're still entertaining to watch😄. The young lads enjoyed this type of humour. Other that the two Naked Gun sequels, I also recommend Airplane 1 & 2, the two Mr. Bean movies (Bean: The Movie & Mr. Bean's Holiday), and the 2 most recent Pink Panther movies (the ones starring Steve Martin). They all have a similar type of humour😄.
If they haven't already, these guys should watch Airrplane!, and see where Leslie Nielsen got his start in comedy. I hope they realize a lot of the humour stems from the fact Frank is totally oblivious to all the chaos he generates around him. If he was deliberately going around causing all these things to happen it wouldn't be funny at all. I'm also really hoping they do know Weird Al. :D
Iwas so curious about this! The Naked Gun series, and Airplane!, and really all Leslie Neilsen comedies, are so heavily focused on American culture and English puns that I was worried it would be too hard to translate, but it looks like some things, such as slapstick, are universal. Based on this reaction, I recommend the comedy Airplane!
Jaja, me gusta porque según los países y las culturas, la gente se ríe de cosas diferentes. Las películas de humor piensan en los espectadores de todas las edades y de todas las culturas. Abrazo desde Argentina!
I still don't get Babu, he laughs in sad scenes of serious movies where he's not supposed to laugh, but in funny movies where he's supposed to laugh he seems confused, and don't tell me he didn't understood the puns or references because the other two guys were having a blast during the whole movie 😅 anyways I hope they react to the whole series ^^
He can laugh in sad scenes if he wants. What he's supposed to do is up to him. Even though they say people are the same all over, it's definitely a variance amongst almost everything pretty much.
Now the game of super innocent non-murderer OJ Simpson and detective Drebin can start! Lets see if he is able to crack the case, lest something goes wrong!
If you haven't seen Hot Shots or Hot Shots Part Deux, they are similar to this. Also the main man is in atleast one of them, Mr Bean (Rowan Atkinson) is also in one.
I.. have noticed this "villagers" thingie once before (quite a while back), and I also watch a lot of reaction videos.. but.. right now is the FIRST time I ever thought about the title of the movie and thought about how it would be perceived to people who don't know the.. "origin".. and.. I have seen the YOUNGER generation watched it and they had NO clue, but.. at least they KIND of was in the same "socio-cultural context" as I am. So.. I haven't even watched half a minute and I REALLY am looking forward to the reactions.. AND I have noticed something that make me think that I was wrong.. completely.. (at least that I missed something). The thing is. I ASSUMED that "The naked gun" was just intended to be funny and based on some fairly common tropes/names of the time. so.. "verb" followed by a highly charged noujn.. kind of.. like "adverb-noun" coupling.. and I assumed they did so randomly. .TECHNICALLY I even saw "Lethal weapon" BEFORE I saw naked gun for the first time, so I kind of thought it was a spoof of THAT title.. but seriously.. I don't know English well enough if it works in English, but.. The person who said "Naked Sword".. made me think of an actual phrase in Swedish where "naked" when talking about "swords".. would mean. "unsheathed" sword.. so.. the fact that it has been. "drawn" makes it.. "naked".. This probably makes MORE sense than my interpretation. .and.. it literally put me on the edge of the seat even MORE to try to see if I could learn more about different cultures and ideas.. because.. I MAY just have been put in my place when it comes to something that I was CONVINCED I already "knew".
- Тюрьма меняет людей. - Это как, интересно? - Раньше я был белым... 😁😁😁😁😅😅 Всем доброго вечера, и крепкого здоровья. Спасибо вам большое за данный обзор. Лайк поставил. 🤗🤗👍👍
OH!!!! Btw; Is it possible to NOT be a member of patreon and still make suggestions?.. because.. I kind of want to know how people react to "Little Mosque on the Prairie".. It's a canadian Tv-series (a comedy; NOT trying to "ridicule" things just point out how there can be conflicts that are.. more humorous than serious) about how cultural issues may arise betwsen Muslims and Christians in the west... and fortunately as it seem to always be available in full on youtube... I would absolutely love to see how "Villagers" would react to this TV-series.
Can you have them watch and react to the greatest, most epic movie of all time..."The Wash"...starring Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, with special appearances by a plethora of characters such as Eminem, George Wallace, D.J. Pooh, Tommy Chong, Shaq, Ludicris among many. Its a great story of friendships, the workplace environment and loyalties.
Sir, I am seeing a potential for this channel to make them try playing different videogames. Maybe start from simple games that are easy to learn like Tetris or Pacman and then slowly towards more advanced games.
