I admit. The first time I saw this video. It blew me out the water. I don't know what I was looking at. He had the voice of an angel. I still love 💘 this song. Till this day💯
My mother when she was alive she loved this man and group. I also love them, the way he looked and the way he moved was absolutely amazing and his voice was very comforting. Beautiful man and beautiful voice. Miss the music back then wish we could go back
I always danced to boy George Michael Jackson Prince George Michael Whitney Houston. I didn't like school so dancing was my get up and go and boogie. I would dance for hours . I need to get back to dancing cause this world is crazy need get the Joy back in my 💜
Boy George didn't give a dam about what negative crop people said and people loved him and he has lived a beautiful life life being him go boy George I still love your music
My mum was a huge Culture Club fan and still is. I was 4 years iof age back in 1982 and I started screaming everytime I saw Boy G on TV. This song is magic - and the others I instantly liked him when I saw him back then. There will never be a time as original as this, it all faded during the 90s.
Yes...I also like Boy G and miss his music still today, but life moves in circles giving pause to a chance that what was yesterday will one day be again in a different form.
You need to remember, this was 1982. As music styles tend to repeat themselves , as with fashion , every 20-30 years, this was a form of dressing taken a bit further than Elton John And David Bowie did in the early ‘70’s. Now , it has evolved into so many different forms now, I couldn’t tell you what they are now. Maybe never ever again.
Absolutely love ❤️ the 80’s. Growing up in this incredible decade. We had it all. Music 🎼, Movies 🎥 and yes the hair . Boom 💥 boxes 📦 no cellphone 📱. Thank you 😊 🎶🎶💙💙🖤🖤

Listening February 2nd, 2020. When I was a pre teen I thought Boy George was beautiful. Great singer and I still miss Culture Club. At least we have these videos to come back to 🤟🏻🎶
[Verse 1] Give me time to realize my crime Let me love and steal I have danced inside your eyes How can I be real? [Chorus] Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry? Precious kisses, words that burn me Lovers never ask you why [Verse 2] In my heart the fire's burning Choose my color, find a star Precious people always tell me That's a step a step too far [Chorus] Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry? Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry? [Verse 3] Words are few I have spoken I could waste a thousand years Wrapped in sorrow, words are token Come inside and catch my tears You've been talking but believe me If it's true you do not know This boy loves without a reason I'm prepared to let you go [Bridge] If it's love you want from me Then take it away Everything's not what you see It's over again [Chorus] Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry? Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry? Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry? Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry? Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry?

What I like about the Culture Club and Boy George. Is that he didn't give a damn what people thought he did what he wanted to do he was happy doing it he had fun. He was very talented and everybody loves him he wrote his own music and he was fantastic even to this day so you go Boy George rock out that's the problem with today everybody's afraid to be themselves💃🏃☺🎈🐾🎵❤
June 13th 2020-a great song which I sang along to as a teenager. Music of this era can never be surpassed. This was real music whose artists had rich raw talents when came to singing as opposed to the rubbish of today's music. Watching and appreciative from Fiji Islands. Stay safe y'all.
Funny that you said that! Because I was in the 11th grade at the time when culture club appeared on Solid Gold. And the next day we were all saying the same thing at school. It was a cool song then and it still is. He played a different version of it on the Jimmy Kimmel show a while back with a reggae twist. It sounds better than the original!

Missing music like this in 2020. I love the oldies show on Saturday nights when they play the 80s and 70 music oh how I wish they would make music like that again.😞 anyway God bless at least we have these songs to bring us back once in awhile Happy New Year
Adoro estas músicas do Culture Club,e também gostava dos rapazes do grupo! quantas saudades da minha adolecencia, década maravilhosa era só romantismo na década de 1980! era só romantism

80s is the most inventive, interesting and memorable decade for music 2020 and I'm still listing to this feel good song. Who's with me? Boy George my love forever...😍😍

I was in tenth grade when this song came out . In 1982. It was very popular on the radio! Everywhere! Miss the 80s. I miss being young! 53 now. Time marches on ! 😧⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈😎😎😎😎
@@lessismore8533 Culture Club was much bigger than the Spice girls! I didn't mind the Spice girls in the 90s. But i Ioved Culture Club! Still do! Their song are timeless. 80s fan forever! 😎😎😎😎😎💪💪💪💪💪
I suppose I appreciate Culture Club because they put a lot of reggae in their music, which wasn’t heard much in America , like everywhere else on earth., except for people who knew someone who played it all the time. England got exposed to reggae more than we did here, it seems.Boy George did well with this style of music.
I'm so glad that everything worked out for boy George after they kicked him out of the band bow wow wow. He was to good for that band and ahead of his time. Bow wow wow could not keep up with him and they knew that's why they kicked him out. His soulful beautiful voice he would have stole everyone heart the fans from bow wow wow that why would they want to know them when he was in the front singing. They knew from just bow wow wow that Boy George was gifted by God with that angel voice that why they made him go. He was to good for them. I'm glad that he made it with Culture Club to show them all just how good he really is. And he himself said that he just enjoy performing with Culture Club to and he forgot about bow wow wow. All that he went thru the pass years is what made him the great man today. Rock on Boy George
If I am going to cast a vote in this world...I am going to vote for a place where there is more inclusion and acceptance for persons to just express the truth of who they really are. Whether that truth may be heterosexual, homosexual, bi, trans, nonconforming or just as themselves. There is a terrible rate of homelessness and suicide in these vulnerable groups. Boy George has been a remarkable role model. And excellent musician over many decades I heartily applause him. He has aged very well.
@@susanleone9767 My beloved Sister Leone when any one of us cares enough to crack open our minds the smallest amount in any fashion by any means possible...it makes the journey easier for the next traveller. Boy George was a most remarkable pioneer in becoming himself.
@@susanleone9767 I am a bisexual woman who is mostly heterosexual, but fully support the struggles of all of my LBGTQIA and B other persons who may yet to place themselves out anywhere on any alphabet. There are so many more to who have suffered unknown deaths at the hands of closed minded bigots when all they sought to do was live, or even audadaucously dare to seek a person to love. This poor oldsad sick world has enough hatred. Let' s find more reasons to join together. To begin to rock in beautiful Culture Club music and forever learn new songs of peace!!
