Joburg,in fact South Africa as a whole is not that dangerous, those people you were with were exaggerating it,you're not gonna get robbed the moment you walk outside,it takes very rare unfortunate circumstances for something like that to happen to you,the same common sense you use to stay safe in Nairobi is the same common sense you'll have to use in Joburg,or anywhere you go for that matter, things like avoiding poor shady areas, not showing off your wealth around disadvantaged people(like the homeless),not walking alone in a dark empty street in the middle of the night, stuff like that,if you apply this basic stuff you should be fine and be able to walk most places, especially the wealthier parts of the city, which tend to be the safest.
But my sister, over 100 gun shots per month and you believed that? There are people walking around in Johannesburg every day without any problems. There are visible Metropolitan police and under cover cops in Joburg. There are universities with students roaming around. Unless one goes to the shady delapitated old buildings where drugs and alcohol abuse is high. Another thing, Johannesburg is huge, with several cities like Fourways, Rundbug, Sandton, Rosebank Roodepoort, Melrose, Midrand, Bramfontein, Hillbrow and others.
Let me correct you... South Africa has 12 official languages not 14. Is Xhosa, Zulu,Sotho,Tswana, pedi,Tsong, Venda, Ndebele,Swati, English, Afrikaans & sign language. And the reason why wine is cheaper in SA than Kenya is because SA produces wine. SA is the second largest producer of wine in the world outside Europe. Do research. But thank you for visiting South Africa ❤
@@allthingsvee3150 Yeah for some reason, most guides are not South African, its chancer's (economic migrants). So they give our guests wrong information.
I'm South African ,i hear Kenyans are nice and there is great party life in Nairobi so i want to Visit .Soweto is a cluster of planned townships ,even our elites like Nelson Mandela used to live there during apartheid before his imprisonment .The places that will not disapoint similar to Kibera i guess ere the infomal settlements that we call imkhukhu in Zulu .Over there people build dwellings out of anything and there is no proper sanitation .There are lots of Mkhukhus in Cape town for example which is ironic because that is a city with wealthiest neighbourhoods.
My friend they are cheap cars has become so expensive i dont know what do mean you cheap,if you have lived in South Africa and working you will South African use credit everywere clothing housing cars
They only do the assembling just like in Kenya . You should have your own brands. Bmw is not a south Africa brand. Just like in Kenya Isuzu, Toyota Peugeot etc they assemble their cars in Kenya
@@M_Senden. what assembly because yall buy Chinise second hand cars we dont drive those Chinese,we drive brand new when they say 2023 Raptor v6 we have it we dont wait 7 years before it arrives plus we have ford plant.Again which car are you making in Kenya which is global besides Chinese second hand cars all your car rewies theres no Kenyans brand, your brand new cars starts from 2019 i was so suprise you nothing about driving a car which released this year you are so behind
@@M_Senden. we dont assemble we have plant C200 mercedes benz 2023 to 2024 is being made in South Africa for all countries,Ford open their plant last or 2 years back thats why we having Raptor v6 Wildtrack v6 you dont have them you see them on tv or youtube
That 100% good we really have to visit our own continent and learn about how our African people live in their places but we visit and go back not over stay we might refuse to leave and bringing shame as visitors.
We have 11 official spoken languages... the rest are not official. It's not true we understand each other, it depends where the person comes from and also how quick they're in learning languages. Mostly people form Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo will understand most languages as those provinces are 'multi-lingual'.
Thank you for speaking so positively about my home country South Africa and to be honest about your experience. I think you just need to be extra careful where you go even when you are a man. Come stay in Joburg the city is full of everyone I know you were there some other things people are just saying not that it does not happen but not the way people are saying.
Cars are new because roads look are good and are cheaper because they manufacture,I went to a land rover dealership in Sandton a car which is $70,000 in sa youll find the same car in Nairobi Westlands at $160,000
No. It's also corrupt. SA is a much richer country and has been so for along time. They were building an elevated highway like the expressway in the 60s in Capetown...
You have given a fair account of my country, madam, and I'm sure a vast majority of South Africans who have seen your video would agree. I have visited Mombasa more than three times (to do research at TUM), and I can honestly say I found people there very warm and welcoming. One little criticism: some people would converse in Swahili even in our presence in a conversation intended for all (I was with some people not from East Africa). Here in SA, people tend to use English when among visitors who do not understand our indigenous languages. In a nutshell, Kenya is a great country which I like very much. If I were to list five countries I would emigrate to, they would be, in order of preference: Namibia , Botswana, Rwanda, Kenya, Ghana. I'm told Eritrea has beautiful ladies, but hey, I'm already spoken for.
People land in Joburg or Cape Town and they have opinion about SA but in Truth SA is very big from just those two places and it differs from place to place greatly.
In the world not in South Africa. it is only well spoken in workplaces or urban areas. Zulu, isiXhosa, Afrikaans....these are the biggest langauges in South Africa@@ChrisMaifo-fd5lt
@@ChrisMaifo-fd5lt yes KZN has the most zulu speakers in SA, But isiZulu is still the most spoken language in S.A with 12million people able to speak it and even more able to understand it.This is literally common sense.
please confirm to me as a kenyan man i think zulu women are well endored with beauty n bum bum.....i was tipsy all through my 4day vacation in SA but i believe my eyes didnt deceive me on what it saw
This south African language called AFRICAANs, is it not official like kiswahili here in Kenya ??? I need a south African to teach just AFRICAANs language I wanna teach him or her kiswahili
Beautiful white teeth my sister...You are too much in a hurry, just relax and talk your facts.Your fact-finding is very incomplete and superficial, just take your time and acquaint yourself with my country,South Africa. We do have insecurity issues yes but is being exaggerated by other countries just to scare the tourists.
You didn't experience any insecurities first hand, yet you talking bad about the place. Stop listening to hear says, get your facts right 👍.I like you a lot, hope you enjoyed your stay in SA. By the way, is Nairobi a safe space??? Just asking, please don't get me wrong
@@allthingsvee3150kenya also has criminality i was robbed my bag and phone in nairobi......so talking about crime in south Africa as if you guys are perfect thats character undermining
Bro 90% of everything you've said is extremely wrong, I've lived in both cities the only difference is roads of which both countries have a different ways of construction,I think you guys from up country should travel and get exposure in nairobi before you go to a different country .
14 National languages 😂😂😂😂 funny, that's so unfair for a language teacher and student... in kenya we only got two National languages, the rest are not official languages😮.
You're lied on the first to avoid being bashed and get their likes. Say the truth. Call a spade a spade. Kama mbaya mbaya. Nwy, I know you make money from this, so you must say nice things.
Babe you should come again and let me give you the real tour of Johannesburg from me a local South African guy, Johannesburg is actually not as dangerous as people make it seems. Interesting fact Johannesburg GDP is bigger than Kenya and Rwanda combined 🇰🇪🇿🇦🤍😊
