NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo and commentator Tucker Carlson sat down for a wide-ranging conversation in Carlson’s first national television appearance since he left Fox News Channel. #Cuomo #TuckerCarlson #FoxNews
I’m very conservative. When I first saw on Tucker’s channel that he had interviewed Chris. I had a lot of misgivings. I agreed with one of the comments that said “There’s a disturbance in the Force!” I have always supported Tucker but I feared when he did this interview that he was somehow becoming much more liberal than I liked. I’m now halfway through Part 2 and I really like the conversation that they are having. I believe that Chris was smeared somewhat by the right and that he deserved criticism on other matters. I think both men grew through this interview.
Possibly. If people realize that talking heads like Tucker, Cuomo, Trump, Biden, Bernie, and just about all of them, are just entertainment. What matters are the benchmarks. Can the locals in the black neighbourhood slowly get better infrastructure, better local laws(get rid of 'same day cash loans stores'), and better opportunities specific to their community? Can they get healthier food? Can they build small businesses? People think, Tucker, a man who got Hunter Biden to get his stupid kid into a nice college, and probably ask someone else to get him into a legacy admissions role will help you. Only individuals and communities can help themselves.
Unfortunately, Cuomo is not a journalist but activist/propagandist. A person, who is under a hat of journalism, calls names and bringing conclusions, is not a journalist. Yes, it is better to talk than attack each other. However, here two guys achieved their own targets. Tucker showed us he is a real liberal under definition of liberalism. Cuomo just wanted to remind us about himself since he is getting forgotten.
I agree with Tucker… as a woman who resents having to HAD to work part-time for 13 childbearing years throughout all my pregnancies and deliveries simply because my husband’s corporation wouldn’t pay him as an ENGINEER enough for me to stay home during those years I NOW HATE the corporate tyranny! I resent new age feminists for the stress during those precious irreplaceable childbearing years that caused me three miscarriages/the lives of my three innocent children! Working without maternity leave pay or getting fired or NOT being hired simply for being pregnant is horrible!!! Woman should be CARED FOR EXCELLENTLY during childbearing years so that children are healthier and woman have less RISK of severe depression because of having to leave their infants to return to work!!!
Honouring, caring for and supporting women - especially in their childbearing years - is also honouring, caring for and supporting our children. The two automatically go together. Not providing things like generous maternity leave benefits - or more importantly - creating a society that requires two parents to work full time at all times just to survive - is damaging our kids and breaking down the family unit (and society in general).
Why should a private company pay for your choices? I just don’t under that mentality. It’s your responsibility to pay for your cost of living, not a private business.
@@StevieVBrownsince the 1970's the American living wage has decreased. Think about the 1950's every show showed women at home. It was possible because a man could afford a home and to care for his family. Now it takes 2 or 3 incomes to live comfortably. A tribe cares for the people, corporations bottom line is the dollar. Nurturing strong families builds a strong nation and society. "Women's Liberation" contributed to slavery-think about it! Who's raising this generations children. The TV, school, and ticktok. Ultimately if we could be more like a tribe, we'd benefit much more in the family unity. It takes a village to raise a child. (As to the author of this post, well written. I pray for your peace) God bless us all! May we get ever better and better together!
It's nice to see Two People from Two different sides, having a Conversation without sacrificing their beliefs and morals, and not screaming at each other.
Tucker is wrong this time. Ashley was attempting to get through. I think less lethal should have been deployed. But if it wasn’t available,,,well she shouldn’t have been there.
@@jamesandalotofgames9211she was a unarmed 5'2 120lb woman, she couldn't kill any grown adult with her bare hands, of Ashley wouldn't have been white and a Trump supporter there would've been riots, thos wasn't an inserrection, there's never been an unarmed insurrection in history, they could've ended it in 15 minutes of they accepted the help the DC police offered, yet they told the DC police they have it under control, not one person was convicted of insurrection since it wasn't an insurrection, only 5 people were charged and convicted of "Conspiracy to commit sedition" not actual sedition, they let it go on so the left could defend the George Floyd riots by saying the right did worse, they tried to take over the government and change the election results😂, 1000 navy seals armed to the T couldn't have taking over the government by taking some congress men/women hostage, we have three different branches of government for a reason and a chain of command incase of a hostage situation, we also don't negotiate with terrorist if a group foreign or domestic tries to do an actual insurrection, thos was a riot of most unarmed elderly people, a bunch of unarmed geriatric patients weren't trying to overthrow the government, even Cuomo said it was a riot not an inserrection after all the detail and video came out.
@@jamesandalotofgames9211 I would have been scared to death in these Officer's Shoes. They were putting together a guillotine out front for Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence. It was total chaos, so I don't fault the Officer at all and I feel sorry that we lost a Veteran.
You are wrong , a cop shot an unarmed human , any cop who shoots someone who ends up not having a weapon , the cop is normally screwed and they now it the second they realize the suspect was unarmed @jamesandalotofgames9211
Going on Tucker and PBD's podcasts was the best decisions Cuomo could have made in his career. Not only has he shown the strength and integrity to engage in health debate with his opposition, but he has now opened the ears of people who would have previously rejected him. Which has vastly increased his platform.
thank you Tucker and Chris. this was so refreshing to watch. two adult men with differing views but completely coherent and respectful. i love it. have to admit this has changed my impression of chris cuomo significantly having watched tucker blast him for years ... i think both of you were blessed to get fired and "freed" from those extreme echo chambers
Great "interview" discussion. Appreciate Tucker much more now. Respect Chris. Thanks guys for doing what this country needs. I hope the leaders of this country follow suit.
That is called a fool or brain dead. And per American standard, these are the people everyone should listen to? LOL No wonder why China and other countries are taking advantage of US.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but after watching this interview I really respect tucker for his views and morals he’s definitely a lot to handle at times but he has good honest points and I always respect and appreciate a true man of God an someone who will stand their ground no matter what it cost them God bless you and you family keep spreading awareness an help the woke sheep pull their heads out of each others asses
I came away even more convinced that big media is evil and both of these guys were nearly destroyed by it. And I hope Chris sees the light and follows Tucker's lead to independence in his own career.
I rly appreciate Chris doing this. And its good to see him more as a human being and his evolution in views since CNN. With thst said, i gotta correct Chris. Jan 6 was a mostly peaceful protest with parts that turned into a riot. Lets be consistent 😉
Yeah he is just trying to stay relevant but he is at least the only Democrat that says it was not an insurrection. He been doing a bunch of Conservative podcast and interviews now that he has been blacklisted by his own party, right now he is just trying to make some money and maybe get a position somewhere else. If he does get a real job like he had at CNN expect him to completely turn coat everything he said on these podcast interviews that actually makes logical sense.
"Jan 6" refers to the riot--not to what everyone else was doing that day. And the riot did not "just happen" where they were observing Congress carry out its duties and someone stumbled, scared everyone, and a riot ensued. It was as wrong as wrong. Illegal. Anti-American. And crippled the nation. And threatens the world.
Gentlemen this was the perfect example of what this country desperately needs more of. Kudos to you both! Chris… your humility and transparency yielded a new fan. Nice works guys 👍🏼
What Chris says about Ashli Babbit he and the other Democrats should say about everyone that was killed by cops. Since they do not, instead they call it racism, makes his statement about it being Ashli’s fault completely ridiculous.
What happened to Breonna Taylor was racism. If she were white, the cops wouldn't have busted into her home without a warrant & shot up the place in a botched raid. Ahmad Arbery wouldn't have been shot & killed by a group of racist white men (one being a cop) if he were white as well.
@@liamlynch2115 When you’re “let in” someone’s house do you break down the doors, smash the windows, piss on the floor, wipe your waste on the wall or is that a MAGA tradition?
As I listen to these two men, I can't help it think of Nietzche's famous words, " There are no facts, only interpretations". It must be difficult to have a conversation, keep an honest face and pretend it is civil when you totally disagree! For whatever it's worth, Tucker seemed more grounded on what he stands for than Chris, hence why he doesn't read or pay attention to his critics. Great quality. Chris does pay attention and that effects how he feels about himself. Who you are vs. reputation were the great words of John Wooden(UCLA coach)
@@ashleytaylor7741 You are correct. Not once did I mention he was more right ? When someone is grounded on their beliefs they have a sense of who they are and the direction to take. They are not concerned about their reputation and what people think. They focus on moving forward and what matters most. Hope that helps Ashley.
Only a completely sociopath has no concern about how anyone sees them. And you're such a gullible fool if you think Tucker is religious or follows any religious principles. He puts on that act to attract marks like you.
Thank you, Tucker Carlson, for admiring (and elevating) the privileged position/ instinct of ALL women to nurture babies...growing children. Thank you! It's high time we put 'motherhood' on a pedestal.
Left or right leaning, we are much more alike than than the media will ever tell you. Thank you both for doing this and showing us all the way to engage in civil, meaningful conversation.
That cop not being fired is very relevant to the situation. If he would have been fired Ashli would still be alive because that cop wouldn't have been there to shoot her.
She should’ve took her ass home instead of rioting with a bunch of armed looneys trying to break into the capital based on a lie. She rolled the dice that day and lost
Like Tuck Tucker Carlson's not divisive. He's one of the most divisive people I know. If you don't believe me, listen to his answer about Putin. He most certainly did not ask about Diwali. because he thought that Putin didn't kill Diwali. Of course he did. And Tucker Carlson knows it. He just didn't want to ask.
Chris is completely wrong about Ashley Babbit. Bird was not in fear for his life from her, he just took it upon himself to indiscriminately fire into a mob. I actually don't even think he was aiming at her, he just fired and happened to hit her in the neck. And he should be charged. But he never will be, and this is injustice.
Good job Tucker...although I know you won't read this! Lolol And good effort Cuomo. First time EVER!,, that I could tolerate listening to you. It's like you are having an awakening...which I am VERY grateful to see. These kinds of open, honest, good-intentioned conversations are helpful. When a person humbles their heart to really listen, and their heart becomes teachable, and they have the comfortability to ask questions for the sake of gaining wisdom, that's when a person changes. So, this was the first time I could see Cuomo in a different light, actually liked him a little, saw his humaness, and have hope for him as a better person,- if he stays on this track. Talking to Carlson, was a good idea, if he was sincere. Hopefully it was not a ploy of some kind, and playing Judas. Cuomo has been given a chance to be better. God is giving it to him. When a man repents, and humbles himself before God, God makes all things new.
Mr Cuomo is very liberal in his ideas about women. I’m glad Tucked stood his ground on what is truly the purpose of women and children. I’m a 63 year old man and regret not having any children of my own making.
I have to say that I absolutely loved this interview. Your discussions of things you disagreed with, such as the death of AShley Babit, was how it is supposed to be. Kudos to both of you for putting aside the past and building something new. I liked it.
Chris: For your information you need to trust yourself and only yourself and be honest about it. That is why Tucker Carlson is so successful. He tells the truth but you are still trying to save others but remember they were not there for you when you needed them. Take real control of your mind and soul and don't worry about what your critics are saying. As long as you are being honest you will not feel regret. Your power is yours and remember that. Love from a Canadian
@@ewessel560 The man gave no warning, he was hiding around a corner, I saw the video and the man next to her who took video and wearing a Trump hat was actually a BLM leader who pretended to be a Trump supporter and encouraged everything was pushing to get in and part of the fake Trump people, he also made a bunch of money selling his video to outlets, if you watched the video she was shout outside the building, no warning, she was literally standing, not banging on anything not forcing anything, just standing there, literally. The shooter gave zero warning, just turned his gun around the corner he was hiding in and shot her.
Alot of people was just sitting in their car ,house, walking home, Sitting in a class room etc. But she let her emotions and Privilege take over and I'm sorry she lost her life because of it 💔
It’s stupidity at its core. She believes Trump big lie, then she in all her foolishness decided to break the law and storm the capital. Do stupid shit and you’ll get stupid results. It’s not hard to see this. Riot with a bunch of armed people trying to break into the capital? Prob best to sit that one out
A productive civil dialogue between 2 opposite points of view. I love it! more of it!.. Maybe they should join forces and do a show together!?! Could be very healing for the country! .. Too much B S in this country right now!
to be fair, "i feared for my life" is what little cops say all the time before they kill someone. and like chris said. no one really had guns. its just what little boys do when they're scared.
Chris, you should do more interviews like this. You sound more reasonable. I still don't agree with you on a lot but I find you much more palatable in this format. You were believable here, not so on cnn
Man- we need more of this. For how many years did we get the major networks sitting on opposite sides pointlessly pointing fingers. Meet face to face and have a conversation. Let’s allow ourselves the ability to say what we’re thinking without fear of repercussions.
It’s helpful and refreshing to see Mr Cuomo in the process of freeing himself from the clutches of the hive. He is not yet as free as Mr Carlson but at least he’s made a start . My concern, for him, is he has now reached the point where it will intentionally become harder to progress further into this freedom and simultaneously become easier and far more welcoming to regress back into the hive. I wish nothing less than the best luck moving forward.
While I agree on almost every point Tucker made, the one I found most profound and indicative of why he has been such a success is his complete avoidance of social media and television. In today’s world, that is a freedom of unimaginable value!
Watched you on Tucker's Channel, and I came on here to say thank you for doing this together, I really needed to see and hear what both of you had to say. You deserve to forgive and move forward, I think you said a lot of wise things, and it was brought out because you two were talking TOGETHER.
Tucker makes so much sense, regarding switching off irrelevant criticism. Give us the full unedited interview. What's the point in showing this carved up version?
Thank you both of you for having this incredible conversation. It was amazing to watch and listen to. I am a firm believer in communication. I hope many people watch and learn the real you. Good luck to you both wish you both great success away from the news norms.
Congratulation Cuomo, this conversation with Tucker is one of the best moment on US TV. EVER!. Do it again please….. American need to talk each other doesn’t matter right or left. BRAVO!
I dont agree with Cuomo's politics, but ive come to appreciate his kindness and willingness to understand since he left CNN. I believe if all tv hosts were freed from the shackles of tv network money motivated executives this country could begin the heal.
I’d like to see a show where these two are the hosts. A weekly program. I think it would be more interesting and informative than anything on the air right now. As a bonus, they’d have ratings through the roof as fans from both sides of the aisle would watch, listen and actually learn what the other side is thinking.
