NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo and commentator Tucker Carlson sat down for a wide-ranging conversation in Carlson’s first national television appearance since he left Fox News Channel. #Cuomo #TuckerCarlson #FoxNews
I'm a mostly conservative, aging man , and love Tucker . But Cuomo did himself proud with calm reasonable conversation . This is what we NEED more of .
I don't know if it's naivete but everyone seems to be missing the point. Cuomo Is it not participating this conversation because he believes in honest discussion, He is participating this conversation because he wants to become relevant again. He's not stupid, He can see the handwriting on the wall. And he knows that his political beliefs are not holding sway right now. Put his brother back in power and let Wilkes take Uber. And he would hang you from the highest yard arm he could find. I don't trust this man in any way.The days of civil conversation have ended and we need to become aware of that. He needs the publicity and is using this platform. I don't want to jail him, banish him or shun him, but come on! This is,still a viper. We have seen him in action. We know who and what he is. He lied, broke laws, and tried to perpetrate scams during Covid. Why are you all congratulating him on talking to Tucker? He just needs the visibility now. This is why Republicans will continue to lose. You forget. You are soft. You are willing to let your enemies destroy you while you try to ignore it with an "Awe shucks he really doesn't mean it attitude." We are fighting for our lives here!
Civil yes, but yet still no true conclusion toward resolve of society. Or more so yet resolve of true understanding in society. What it is to be sovereign individually and yet responsible at home and abroad, exemplification of what it is to be truly free. No outward upward mobility will do this if there is no challenging that which is from within.
Way to go Chris and Tucker. This exchange between two adversaries is a ray of light in the darkness. Probably the best thing Ive seen in years as far as honesty and humanity are concerned.❤
This is the self mediated, introspective therapy session that we all needed. Huge Tucker fan. Respect for Cuomo for having a conversation. Everyone makes mistakes, but growth only comes when we recognize the mistake and own it.
God bless you both being an example of what healing the divide looks like. We need to talk to one another and put our humanity above our perspectives. 👏❤️
Sorry Cuomo, that is exact hely the way it came across. BTW I have a friend currently living in Russia, so yes, he is right it makes you sick to death that our leaders don't see it.
People seem to forget these two made (and are making) a fortune 'dividing' people. I'm trying to quit the talking head addiction. It's tough but, one day at a time.
This conversation is really hitting me in a profound way. I work in the Hollywood system for the past 20+ years, at a high level as a leading executive. The system tried to cancel and oust me for my public defense of children and countering the new generic & bland “LatinX” label. In 2022 I was expelled for it by the company I worked with. I found a new home and grateful for the unexpected speed bump. I’ve been stuck, however. Unable to stand fully. Still healing my emotional wounds and disenchantment with humanity. But, this chat just chipped away some of this. Giving me energy toward another step back up. Chris, Tucker- you’re a great example for humility, strength, and hope. For me at least. Thank you.
Give Cuomo his flowers too. Awesome to see both of them in the same room speaking. After a few years back just shots at each other on opposing media outlets
Tucker Carlson is great by himself. Tucker was always a good person. Chris Cromo is arrogant, he lost his job just like Tucker but both had different reasons why. Chris just realizes that the deep state is losing.
I want to tell you guys I’ve been following the both of you for many years I’m 68 years old heard lot seen a lot . This is the best dialogue with heard between two men in a long time. Two men being real to men, humbling himself and genuine. Thank you so much. God bless the both you.
I found this conversation enjoyable and very entertaining. My father used to say “it’s OK to disagree, but just do it agreeably”. We need more of this type of discourse in the political Arena. Well done guys!
The really good thing about seeing someone you don’t like being interviewed by someone you do is that you get to see a different side of them that you have never seen before and find out they’re not that bad at all. We should all talk more and LISTEN to each other
This conversation is NOT one I had on my bingo card for 2024. 😂 I have watched both of these two go for the jugular on their programs. To see them in the same room just being honest and real with each other shows me that there is still a small bit of hope I can have for humanity.
I really love this interview and I never thought I'd say that. Dividing the American people is a bad thing and at least he recognizes it. Most people won't say it because they don't want to lose their job.
This interview was fantastic between Tucker Carlson and Chris Cuomo. It gives me hope for the future that both sides really can get along even though they have different views. I’m very pleased with this interview.
Good for you both for breaking bread together and having a cordial conversation. This was great to watch. More people from both sides should take this as a lesson on diplomacy. 👏
Tucker’s confused puppy dog face is seriously a real thing. I thought it was part of his Fox Character Carlson but it’s genuinely how he looks when he’s listening. 😂
Pride is the deadliest sin. Cuomo’s humiliation from leaving CNN may have been the thing he needed to put him back on the right path to being a decent person. Although I’m still not fully convinced.
I didn't expect such civility. You two work well together on this. Much appreciated interview. Tucker you have grown leaps and bounds. Well done to both of you.
Right after I finished watching this video, a song I liked came up. I just broke into dancing in such a good mood. Then I realized what really put me in that good mood was this video. It's so good to see people who sharply disagree with each other sit down and treat one another like human beings. I hope we start trending towards this direction.
More of these conversations need to happen. I love how you two were having a regular conversation, with honesty, but keeping it light enough to laugh. Well done gentleman well done. America needs this.
The most meaningful engagement between the two “sides” I’ve seen in a long, long time. Thank you to all involved for making this happen. Please keep the “momentum” going.
LOVE this !!!!!! Bravo 👏 I have always loved Cuomo, but I have fallen in love with Tucker when I watched him on another recent interview. I was blown away how I was brainwashed by rumors of him while I never truly gave him a chance. He is fair. His is the picture of transparency. He is brave and mostly he is funny and I ABSOLUTELY love his laughter!
I'm truly curious to know what you find to love about Cuomo? He has done nothing but harm to this country with his deceptive reporting. While pushing COVID lockdowns for the rest of us, he was out in public like it was business as usual during a time when he claimed he was quarantined at home sick with COVID.. That's just one example of his lack of character.
What we get from this interview is 😡😡 1. Dont listen to geopolitics experts on Ukraine issues ,but listen Tucker 2. Don't listen to Doctors when its about covid, but listen to Tucker Bcoz he knows everything 😡😡😡😡😡
Wow this is Tucker like never seen before... I still disagree with him on some of the things he spoke about, but it is amazing how conversations, courtesy, being human can relax the mind. You don't see the other person as an enemy enemy (yes two times for emphasis) but as just another alter ego having a different perspective... God bless you both for making this possible... Others should not be ashamed of following this good example
I love this interview!! My opinion about Cuomo has changed. As a journalist, I never agreed with his views and politics but as a person he’s not that bad. It was nice to see people from both parties sit and have a civil conversation without yelling and offending at each other. Great interview! Thank you.
I love this! Two men respectfully disagreeing, thank you both so much for sharing your conversation. ❤ I’m a huge Tucker fan but I loved hearing what Chris’s views were in a way that one side wasn’t attacking the other. Beautiful ❤
If you two guys did a collab show or a series of deep dive docs, it would reinforce the message. You guys have more in common than you think. This is a matter of free thought versus group thinking in concert with individuality versus tribalism. Pendulum Duopoly States would be quite peeved to see you guys joining forces.
@@mypillowguy445a lie would be something like the Steele dossier. There's now mountains of proof of election interference and cheating, yet you still think tucker was lying 😂😂. Mentally ill liberals like you can't separate feelings from facts 😂😂😂
This convo was so great!!! Props to both of you. 2 ppl on opposite sides having a great convo. This warmed my heart, brought tears to my eyes and I had some good genuine laughter...loved the banter. Thanks, guys!!!
Thank you. I pray Americans talk to each other and understand each other, it’s not necessary to agree on everything but we need to be civil. This is the best country truly. Let’s not mess it up.
A lesson on clearing the air, PERFECT! Just what we need now. Two adults showing how adults should behave. Open dialogue with respect for each other’s opinion. Continued on, eyes open, we see the light. Thank you. Both of you.
Is it possible to have an intelligent respectful conversation with humour! So not being full of ego narcism. Be able to truly listening. The end of this was so hilarious. Well done. We must have differing views be able to not just tolerate but appreciate difference in order to thrive be in health.
Love the civility between the two. Two guys talking even though they agree to disagree on so many topics. I wish our nation could do the same. Well done gents.
This is so great to see these two guys sit down... PERIOD!!! To see them progressively agree together that the system is flawed and expose it from two once opposing sides is really refreshing...When two guys can sit down shake hands after prior conflict as grown men talk about their mistakes and not only take accountability for their human nature driven decisions, as well as talking together about being fired and judged in public forums and use that to become personally and publicly better people is amazing...To come out of their personal strife and still grow to be better men and have the freedom to jointly inform the public openly gives me hope in the future of humanity. If they did the "World News " Siskel and Ebert style it would be the single greatest show on this big flawed blue ball!!! Thumbs up guys!! Cheers to both of you!!! Being born in the early 60's I grew up in a time where I was taught to shake hands after a fight and learn from it. Most of those fights yielded new friendships that have lasted a lifetime... I think a lot can be learned by people that will truly take the time to listen to this pairing objectively without malice and typical keyboard warrior rants. If this was a couple of years ago I would have never clicked "play" after seeing Chris Cuomo's face... After seeing this, I have subscribed to both of their shows...
It’s very refreshing to see opposition can come together and see or care about your differences. To be happy with who you are. I’m glad to be alive. I love watching you two having a good conversation!!
I really appreciated that they did this. We stayed up late last night and watched the entire conversation. We went in thinking maybe we really had the wrong impression of Mr Cuomo and were happy to be proven wrong. We were not. Mr Cuomo “said” a lot of the “correct words” to be seen as not a total tool but it just wasn’t very believable. I just couldn’t get away from the term self-aggrandizing. My husband watched the interview at the same time in another room as I was working on something in a different room. We met up after we finished watching and discussed our impressions on the way to go to sleep. His impressions were similar. His comment was that ‘Cuomo just doesn’t understand or get it but maybe he will in time. For his sake, I really hope so but it seems he has a long way to go’. Mr Cuomo felt like he was still working on getting things from Mr Carlson where as Mr Carlson just didn’t care if the gotchya engagement happened. What I mean to say is, Mr Carlson said as much and so did Mr Cuomo but I got the sense from what Mr Cuomo went on to further say that he was still trying to get a ‘TV moment’.
What ever happened to 2 people that disagree on about everything getting together like this, you 2 made my day with this. Thank you for being so honest and nonviolent great talk forgot what this sounded like!
@@Doreana48501 open discussion between sides is how common ground is reached. This is a productive conversation that brings people closer together, and you were still talking about not wanting Cuomo sharing a stage with someone like Tucker. (Super cynical to say that the only reason it doesn’t devolve into something nasty is because neither had an ‘own’, maybe they’re both just more mature adults than you are) What is achieved by NOT hearing out the side and having a conversation? If you can answer that then I will respect your opinion.
