He didn't report it, and then he admitted under oath that the meeting did in fact take place. So either Eric Trump, the court he testified in, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, and Homeland Security are lying, or it happened. Spreading dangerous misinformation is not protected under the first amendment. You can't yell fire in a crowded theater, you can't lie about safety hazards to your employees, you can't claim that a confirmed event pertaining to the integrity of our democratic elections and the security of our country didn't happen.
