in this video, I talk about a brilliant mounting solution for car or van cup holders.
I needed a reliable mount so that I am able to hold my Uniden UBC125XLT scanner or PMR / radios when out and about in my van.

this mount pushes into your vehicles cup holder, and a quick clockwise turn locks it into place by expanding the base.
the base measures 65mm, and for reference, that's the size of some Batchelors Bigga marrowfat peas.
the top of the mount has a hard plastic belt loop clip holder which is attached via generic tripod screw mount 1/4 20
you can also buy separate phone holders with a 1/4 20 screw mount to fit the mount arm
