The Candy Corn is actually, by far, the easiest part, assuming you have the Smoke Bomb equipped. You can just dash through him. No jumping required, which means you can never be hit by the flying enemies. I always hope to get Candy Corn last.
The final mechanic doesn't really move the bar at all. It's not a glitch, it just gives you a hopeless state of "Omg how long does this actually take" every time you wipe. Adds more pressure to the fight imo
BALLISTIC for the last phase, you wanna keep constant fire going, and dodge the head. The peppermint you can ALWAYS bounce off of so you can use it to your advantage to avoid the head. Once you see two heads the boss is SUPER close and should be a few more seconds. Hope this helps!
you cant just leave out the muffin, especially if he is the third candy, then you have him, the princess shooting and the little candy runny around. For me he is impossible to beat here, say he forced you to the right corner, then the princess shoots at you and the little pebble comes out, where the fuck do you dodge? Can't dash left cause he is on ground, can't jump left cause he is about to jump right, can't sit still cause of the pebbles and the princess shooting clouds, ahhh!
for anyone in need, heres my advice for muffin/cupcake man: Stay on the ground & avoid jumping. Dash if you are in his way. Roundabout & chaser are probs the best to use for him. hope this helps, this is just my strategy jaksja
When he jumps around keep a far distance and keep shooting him. When he's on the ground 3 waves of muffin come. Witch is why you shouldn't be near him.
On the final phase with the moving castle a good way to see if a peppermint is coming is to see if the castles teeth/gate goes away that signifies a peppermint is coming

So i initially hated this boss at first,so i beat it on simple to access other levels.I finished the run n gun and got some coins.I bought the coffee charm. My initial strat to make this boss extremely easy was to use the coffee charm and use your super at the third phase.This makes it super easy because you dont have to deal with the annoying jelly bean and varoness.And if you survive with 3 even 2 hp i found the last phase to be extremely free.
Helpful to some, surely, but leaves out several key points about the boss fight. There are a total of 5 potential minions, Gumball machine, Jawbreaker, Waffles, Candy Corn, and the ignored Ice Cream (I think?). After a minion is defeated,the next phase begins and more mechanics are added from the Baroness herself. Phase 2 introduces the mentioned jelly bean warriors, which can be parried, but phase 3 rattles the cages even more. The Baroness actually grabs a gun and shoots cotton candy puffs at the player, which can be destroyed but add a new threat to keep an eye out for in the air, making certain phase 3 encounters like candy corn much harder.
*advice* For the bubblegum thing I recommend staying on the right side, you get less gum balls thrown at you. You’ll have to dodge the little jelly bean warriors more though
You cant do damage by just trying to hit her. You have to bounce on the pepper mint to damage her. Sure it may sound stupid but it really works. OF COURSE NOT!! YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING AT THE END OF THE STAGE. YOUR AS GOOD AS DEAD!!!
She's probably one of the easiest bosses in the game, and the difficulty totally depends on which enemies she sends out. If you get "candy corn", "gumball machine", and "waffle guy", she's piss easy. Jaw breaker and Ice Cream can mess you up though. Just take your time on her final form, and dodge her head accordingly, while blasting her.
I have been struggling with this levels for around a week (yeah I know, sad). And it's on simple mode. What I struggle with the most is the jawbreaker. The furthest I have gotten is when Baroness Von Bon Bon starts to shoot me. :'')
(0:25) I don't wanna be rude, just want to point out that that's a WAFFLE, not a chocolate bar. If you look closely, it has a piece of butter on its head and syrup wings, and also his death screen quote is "Straight off the iron and too hot to handle!"
Extra tip from me: Keep retrying until you get the cupcake first. That bitch is impossible to kill with jellybeans and candy clouds screwing you all at once. I wouldn't risk it.
When the “chocolate bar” kill you it says _”Straight off the iron and too hot to handle!”_ , so I’m pretty sure it’s a waffle man. Also the butter wings and stuff.
Ooooh! You can parry the rolling peppermint thingies!? Didn't realise that. Sweet! (badum-tish) *IMHO,* save your power-ups and hit her with the big beam instead. I beat her just some minutes ago and I _think_ the last phase of the battle was significantly shorter than here.
