Cuphead King Dice Glitch (every boss dies EXTREMELY fast)

haven't noticed before but at the beggining of every battle mugman drink in his own straw *wh a t*

Same happened to me. I even got to the diceking boss after defeating specific bosses with just one shot. The dice king himself was immune to damage and just moved his hand. quiting out of the game did the trick for me and everything was normal again.

I have captions on and they are hilarious!

It's like that because the boss fight is not meant to be in simple mode. The glitch only took place when you play at simple mode in another level and you don't move the selection square.

Happened to me too, i beat all the bosses in like 2 seconds

This happens because the last boss you fought was on simple mode, King Dice and the Devil don't has simple mode, yet the game remembers the last mode you did (Simple, Normal, or Expert.) Since the last mode was simple, it got applied to the King Dice battle. Then the game freaks out, and that happens.

When the captions is better than video

It's a glitch that allows both King Dice and the Devil to be played on Simple mode. If you go to fight any boss (e.g. Phantom Express) set the difficulty slider to Simple and the go to fight King Dice or the Devil and start the fight WITHOUT changing the difficulty it will start in normal mode.

not sure if I've seen anyone explain this, but this is a known glitch to the speedrunners at least, called simple devil/king dice fight. basically if you hover over simple on another boss, then go fight king dice it will give you his broken half programmed "simple" fight where bosses have less HP but some won't load in

This happens if you select simple difficulty in another level and enter the King dice boss fight. The game doesn't reset difficultly selection on each boss screen so essentially you're fighting the glitched "simple" version of King dice. This glitch also persists past loading screens and can even allow you to play expert levels on a new save file as soon as you start (which is referred to as fresh expert glitch)

Maybe you set it on simple mode? When you go to a boss battle and select simple, then exit out and go to another boss fight it auto changes to simple, even if i looks like it’s set on regular for the last 2 bosses. This causes the KD fight to be impossible, and the Devil’s fight to be only in the first form, then he dies.

Funny story Me and my brother are addicted to cuphead and we were on king dice. We had been for about a week. But me and my bro FINALLY made it to where we fight king dice. Before king dice we had just got a glitch were the monkey mini boss committed suicide. So while we were fighting I died and my bro didn't parry slap me. So he was screwed cause he had 1 health. But the most amazing thing happened.. the glitch where king dice's hands danced and no cards came out. So me and my bro where sooo happy. Then we got to the devil and I made my brother do the glitch where you stand at the edge of the hole where the devils skeleton hopped in and we beat the game. This happened to day and I was rolling on the floor laughing

This Glitch happens when you play any boss on simple before fighting king dice (theres a whole reddit about this somewhere) just restart the game and it fixes

This happens when you go to a different boss on another save on simple then go back to another save the regular and expert will be darkened making it a simple fight but the game doesn’t intend for you to do this so 4-6 don’t spawn and with the final boss it stops after the first phase

I know how this happened. first off, you can go to expert mode on a file where you haven't beaten the game yet by going to another file and selecting expert, then going back to that file and there will will be a 3rd option(expert mode). it's just like that, exept you go to simple mode on that file and then back to king dice because king dice doesn't have a simple mode.

This happens with my friend.He was just trying to get to the devil to show me he beat it then he just started beating all the mini bosses+King dice 🎲 in 2 seconds.It was crazy!

I think the problem is that the starting animation did not start, so those which start off the screen will not come on screen, because the animation will not for the boss

this is a glitch called king dice easy mode, I experienced it when I went to the dev menu and chose: Easy-Dice_Palace-Main.

I turned on subtitles and it was really weird the subtitles have nearly NOTHING to do with whats going on on-screen... It's more entertaining than the video it's self

And there is also a glitch where the bosses don't spawn in and you have to retry (this happens about 80 times during this video)

You unlocked game journalist mode, where everything is easier for them to review it.

I think you got the simple mode glitch.It makes them not attack or not spawn.Or for King Dice:A forever dancing hand attack.(With no cards)

It’s a glitch where if you go to a boss on simple and leave then go to kingdice or devil you can play on simple just don’t move just click on regular if it doesn’t have gray text then you did something wrong

This is on the Debug Mode. This can't actually be done in regular Cuphead. This occurs when you play King Dice on easy (simple). Due to the fact that the debug mode has simple, regular, and expert mode for each boss.

I suppose the engine think you have beaten the boss but doesn't realize you reset the entire progress to they think the previous boss KOed

it happens when you exit a fight in simple mode and go to king dice or the devil.

What is happening is the game think it is on simple because the last stage you played was in simple and it saved it for the next fight it also works for the devil.:D

you launch the fight in simple. Your previous boss was in simple, and in cuphead, the last difficulty is preset if you don't change it. So you acidentally launch the fight in simple (bug)

This happends if u do a level on simple mode right before this one and not moving the cursor while selecting king dice this cause the level to be on simple mode you can also do this with the devil.

You somehow got into simple mode. I hacked it once and that is what happened when I played him on simple.

I was going to comment about how unfunny the captions are but then when I looked at the comment section I saw almost everyone mentioning a quote from it and I just lost my mind about it because you don't often find people talking about captions in videos.
