Shout outs to that one guy in the comments section of Cupid that asked for a "Cupid but you're drowning". If it weren't for them I wouldn't have searched for this video.

You could feel your heart racing, your rose in hand as you step into the ballroom. The room was huge. The DJ booth music bounced off the glitter-covered walls. The smell of lavender and dust swirled in the air along with the people. The music was prominent in the space, yet low enough where you could hear side conversations and laughter around you. You watched couples dancing, locking eyes as their feet moved in time with the music. A few more steps took you to the center of the dance floor, where you and your friend promised to meet. But this wasn't just a last ditch effort to get a date to this gathering, it was your chance to tell them all the feelings you've felt for so long. Finally, now was your time. You couldn't express the happiness you felt as you saw them swaying to the sounds of slowing music in the background. Until you saw them... Someone else. Holding their hand. And twirling them around the dance floor's empty space. Before pulling them in for a kiss with the rest of the couples. Music fills the air and they sway to the rhythm. A moment of bliss and joy envelopes them as they enjoy their dance. They can't help but smile, basking in the beauty of the moment. They were beautiful. You held your rose to your heart, feeling the thorn gently prick your chest skin through your clothes. Suddenly, you felt tears as you watched their happy expressions in the dimmed lights of the ballroom. What happened? You did everything right. Didn't you? They're your friend, you should be happy for them. You should be happy that they found someone they love. But you're not. You brought up a hand to cover your mouth, watching them pay no mind to you as they danced happily to the music. They're not ignoring you, they can't see you due to their comfort in this moment. You're not there. Your eyes burned with tears as you watched them, your heart shattering inside of your chest. You wanted to leave right then and there but you couldn't move your feet from the ground below them. Why? What did you do wrong? You were sure you did it right, but they still didn't love you; they never did.

Jack is about to become my inspiration in the later future lol And other artists as well heh The effects are pretty spot on A dist echo as well as slight muffle to have that empty feeling
