Been spending ages comparing long-order and suddenly-vanishing specs for other marques before I discovered this 2 weeks ago. Every time I learn a bit more I like it more - ordering a VZ2 with all the trimmings (sunroof, 360, etc) as a company car replacement for significantly less than anything else I was looking at, and getting what seems like a lot more in return. It's a beautiful machine!
Never seen such a detailed review for anything, let alone a car! Great job, what an effort, really good. I just ordered the 204ps e-hybrid in a pretty nice spec, looking forward to it. This is one of the only car nowadays that actually looks good (amazing in fact), compared to the alternatives that are both expensive and ugly.
what a brilliant, comprehensive review! I feel as though I literally know everything about this motor now! Seriously considering a VZ3. Interested to know what the washing instructions are on the special matt paint!
When recently looking for a change of car I test drove a 2018 model two litre Porsche Macan, to be honest apart from the badge I wasn't that impressed and then test drove a 2022 model Cupra Formentor VZ2 310 for the same money and with more toys and that car now sits on my drive.
I've had this car in the VZ2 310 bhp version for over three months now, yes it is very good but there's that infotainment system that's full of bugs and does some weird stuff like not letting you enter the car, or it can make random phone calls to even slamming the brakes on for no apparent reason whatsoever as just a few examples. VW know about this problem as it's a similar problem across their range of cars fitted with this infotainment system but the Formentor has many electrical niggles that need sorting, what are VW doing about it? Very little.
@@EastWood2004 Yes had the latest version installed but it still had some minor niggles later on that sorted themselves out, it's like a computer processor that can't handle all the instructions and takes time to catch up. it's been behaving itself recently though, there's an even newer version now but I'm in no rush to have it installed.
