Here is the Cupra Leon 300. in this video i review the Cupra leon 300 and cover off performance, interior, exterior styling and more. Did Cupra get this part wrong with the Cupra Leon 300?
A nice, detailed review. This chap deserves more subscribers. Talks in real world terms and very relatable views on how much power you need for UK roads.
Stef a well summed up review, I would like to thank you immensely for entertaining us with excellent content on your channel, I look forward to what 2022 hold for us. I hope that you have a nice end of year, seasonal greetings.
I like the sleeper look. You don't expect it to have power. I love my 1.5 fr leon. But when my lease ends I'm looking at these or GTI golf. I don't mind ethier. It's just what deal I can get when I'm eligible to swap
Your right about the side Stef, looks bit like a family sedan from side maby a regular Toyota something. Frontwize it reminds of Mazda, and in my book thats a good thing. Ithink compared to a Golf if this is lighter, we shod have a more agile car here. I would say my Clubsport thats 100 kilos lighter than regular gti or so, is still not exactly a light, that i realized when driving my old 900-kilo Nissan Micra parents now inherited.. Its strange how fun a 70-90 hp car can be just because of the weight factor.. 😄 (it is in fact so strange that i would love to see that Micra modded, if you know what imean.. 👍)
Hit the nail on the head here Stef, I hate that side profile. Cupra’s we’re supposed to be a bit ‘out there’ they did get it wrong. I nearly got one of these on lease, as good deal, I thought I liked the interior but it looks very grey on here! I’ve recently tried to go for an Abarth 595 Comp which was a great lease deal but the company seems to be messing me around now. They don’t seem very bothered at all!!
going to keep my mk3.5 300 (and mod it more) because it doesn't really offer much more and that infotainment / heater controls are downright dangerous, plus i like my colour
I've got one of these. It's a nice well rounded car with a good amount of space but the silver doesn't do it for me either. Completely agree with the touch screen. I'm used to it and navigation is easy and became easy quite quickly, but it's just not quick or responsive enough at times.
@@kasi9673 I got rid of it last month. It just didn't live up to what I was expecting. It was my first "fast car" but I felt quite let down with a few aspects such as the infotainment system and the mpg even when driving carefully was pretty poor. Can't say I miss it either if I'm being honest.
@@benlea19 Oh wow, not a turn I expected, but glad I asked anyway. Could I ask what have you replaced it with or what are you considering as a replacement?
I was going to ask the same I'm a week into VZ2 310 Formentor ownership and it's pretty epic to drive and looks incredible in the flesh - totally stands out from the crowd as opposed the Cupra Leon!
Why don’t they make the hatch in AWD.. I just don’t get it, because I think they look amazing. Obviously they have a responsibility to look after the golf R.
Visual Drama. No. Old 53 reg era FR mark one 1.8t petrol 225 cupra had it all. Since Seat cum Cupra lost it totally to VW , who just do it right. Nice balance drivetrain and body styling / kit on the R. RU-vidrs generally dislike the wheels. There is massive need this look better not worse than the R. The new electric Cupra the Id3 sister does look better than ID3
MK1 and 3 were so smooth in looks department. MK2 and this one...from some angles they look ok, from others not so much. I always liked that sleeper looks (especially with mk3 st version), but this one looks really really boring and those wheels are absurd.
What a ridiculous and dangerous infotainment/ control unit. I am amazed that they can have drivers legally touching this and going through menus and sub menus to get to a control. Accidents waiting to happen.
@@evaristocorripio5434 hmm I duno I've got the old one it's 6 year old now like but I don't think it looks old compared to this... the backends nice then the front looks old too me. The formentor looks alot nicer I don't think this leon cupra going to be very popular at all
@@olley1ify I disagree, don't like the formentor, too tall. And the last gen cupra still looks nice don't get me wrong, but I really like this new one. But of course just my opinion!
@@evaristocorripio5434 Yes we are all entitled to an opinion, and that was mine. I prefer RWD cars, so I am always going to mark a FWD car down for that, but even so, there are much better FWD cars than this (in my opinion).
-Ugly car? Nope, don't exaggerate. -Sounds horrible? I agree, but blame European regulations not Cupra. New Golf R sounds like shit too. The good old days are gone. Leon Cupra 265/280 hp sounds amazing, I really miss the dsg farts. A few months ago I drove a 911 Carrera (2018) and sounds like shit too. -Looks cheap? Nope. It doesn't.
