As you said it looks distressed or broken which is the beauty of it! It looks aged as well. You’re mixing new and old. Let it look old. I love your decor. You picked some very unique items. They are however very pricey. Not something the average person could afford just for decor. It's very nice you are able to get them and enjoy them. Love your home you're the best for sure. I hate cookie cutter videos where everyone has the same items in their house as everyone else. Amazing haul Hannah. For the butter bell you supposed to put water on the bottom part to keep your butter fresh. I will be getting some goodies for sure. You have such great taste for decor.

Some really great finds plus I just learned about soft butter. I grew up and have always kept butter in the refrigerator as well so this is something new for me also, lol.

Ok, I definitely need those wooden candle holders asap. I’m with you when it comes to not having the same old things as everyone else. Also love using items for a different purpose. Hannah, wow these items are so unique. I found a beautiful butter crock on the Anthropology website. I love it too and I've never had butter on my counter top. I guess when you find something you love... you're going to use it.

Wow great haul Hannah ! Adore the onyx pedestal riser so different ,black candlesticks ,brown tray ,the tea light holder you used for matches and the horse are my favourite picks . I would dry brush him a little but not too much to tone down the grey,love his has no legs and the finish ,thanks for sharing I’m sure a lot of work went into the making of this video !

I discovered the butter bell a few years ago and when I did I was thrilled. I have gifted this to so many of my family members and friends. Like you I wondered where have you been all my life. 🤣

Everyone needs a friend from the Midwest to teach them it’s okay to not refrigerate your butter 😂 My mom never refrigerated it when I was growing up and I still don’t. It’s in a covered butter dish on my counter. No fancy butter bell. Just make sure it’s covered to keep dirt off of it. Your butter bell ia gorgeous though. ❤

I need the butter keeper. Hope you don't mind me saying...think about keeping the grey horse as is. When you held it up we could see your background and the grey looked fantastic mixed with your earthy tones. I mean grey is definitely an earth tone too. Whatever you do with it will be fine, but maybe live with the grey for a bit? Have fun.😁
The butter crock is also called a butter bell. Wonderful invention. I believe they’re common in French kitchens. Soft butter is amazing! Beautiful items. I love stone & horses, too.
You may already know this and just didn’t mention it , but just Incase you weren’t aware your are suppose to put water at the bottom of the butter bell so it creates a seal between the water & butter so the butter doesn’t spoil. Because butter is basically milk the dairy can spoil. So by creating the seal it helps with that. So funny to watch your video on this today because I have one and my sister-in-law saw it today and was completely amazed by it. She had never heard of this.
