Annie, only thing relevant I have heard is that Cats are better off taking LDN during the day. Their Circadian Rythm is different from humans which requires Endorphin Hormomes to be produced mostly at night (1-5 AM). Whereas most cats are Nocturnal and sleep mostly during the day. Just what I have read/heard about this. But if you are getting good results...maybe does not matter.

@@SJ-wu9gx no chemo or radiation just LDN and mistletoe. However the mistletoe stopped working so I'm doing HBOT 2-3 days per week and it's giving me tons of energy and many good wonderful benefits. Love the LDN TOO

@@StuVideff , the answer to that question is a difficult one I don't want to give out any misleading information that is rampant on these types of subjects , I found out cancer is a very complicated situation , let me compile data from some of the notes that I taken so that can be accurate and what I put on here oh, I will update it soon oh, sorry to hear that your wife is battling the same cancer

@@StuVideff hi, Stoian, I took a long time to answer this, but I hope this can help, I'm no longer on any tki or any standard of care for my cancer, after a very tough time with a drug called Lorbrena, and a plethora of supplements I achieved positive results, but had to stop because of the many troubling side effects that that started happening all at once, that I'm still dealing with today, mainly central nervous system damage. The only thing that I can tell you the LDN is that I took it for a while with a lot of other drugs and supplements I started experiencing confusing side effects so I stopped taking it thinking about starting it up sometime in the near future doing other things to help fight the cancer I don't have any results to give you yet other than that I'm still here and I am functioning on my own I hope this helps, I think it's worth a try good luck best regards John

Look for waccination side effects. Cancer is one of those along with 1200 other side effects from those waccines

I have BC and get my LDN from Care First compound pharmacy. It requires an RX. Don't wait for a study. Start it asap. Also, your wife needs a total lifestyle change. I don't know if anyone is familiar with the late Dr Bihari's work. He pioneered this over 2 decades ago. He explained that anything that was endorphin sensitive, including certain cancers, autoimmune conditions, Aids and so much more, benefited with LDN. It suppresses the pleasure centre of the brain for a short time at a low dose and then boosts an endorphin release. It also helps other medication work better. His main research was with the Aids community and found great success in antiviral treatment and LDN combo. I took it for 7 years after MS diagnosis. The neuro, while sceptical, said it would do no harm at such a low dose. Went to MS clinic for 5 years for regular appointments, then stopped bothering. 25 years later, I have no MS to report. The early doctors must have gotten it wrong... yeh right! Over the years, I've take it in fits and starts, whenever I feel I need a boost. The doctor is OK with prescribing it. Now, I'm doing it for inflammation and weight loss as well as a low thyroid. As you can see, apart from opioid painkilling medications, low dose of Naltrexone is worth a try.

It's been around for decades. I'm prescribed the 50mg, crush it, put it with 50 mil water, and take 5mg in the morning. (Used to take it in the evening but changed it around to benefit the potential for weight loss) It gives me ten days on one pill. While the original script is expensive, over $100 off shelf use, it works out really cheap by low dosage taking. You do get vivid dreams, though.

Please elaborate as to how you think it is not safe. Thousands or more of patients with MS have taken this drug for decades without any side effects of untoward effects. As a modulator, not a cure, it is meant to be taken long term.

I’m talking about the full dose of 50-150 mg being potentially unsafe. Not low dose.

I just want to hear their opinion since it's actually Rx'd more at full dose than low. I'm a huge believer of LDN. There is no reason this comment doesn't belong here though.

This must be a drug company bot. Imagine if people used this for cancer and saved thousands of dollars a month on treatment. I am sure the drug companies would not want this information to get out. So there will never be any comprehensive clinical trials on this because its use would cost drug companies money. why would they pay the expense of a trial for something that is going to lose them money!

What's sick is how many people go through the harsh treatments, removal of body parts and still pass... while losing quality of life. That is what I call sick! This off-label drug does no harm and supports the immune system which all cancer patients can use. Discouraging people by ignorant fear mongering is also a little sick. This medicine has and is helping many. It's wonderful that this med student is researching this drug for multi-purpose usage. Sadly, the FDA will most likely never allow it to be used since it is so cheap. Be well.
