Fell asleep to this yesterday. Been a long time since I watched a synth jam or touched a synthesizer but this was really chill, made it seem effortless almost
Nice collection of videos. You really do get a smooth sound out of your Lyria-8 where as mine seems more harsh, I wonder if it has to do with mod knobs. You don't do much with those. I think you are most often turning the vol knob. Or possibly Oto Bam is smoothing out the rough signal of Lyria?
Thanks Scott. I use the mod knobs occasionally to get a singing effect. I use the Bam damping to smooth out some of the edges. Also the microcosm filter. And if not those I use the moogerfooger LP1 and I do the same thing.
@@Christopher.white_ I have Microcosm so I will try that. It is mostly that I had my Lyra-8 mod knobs up so it was just harsh and brittle sounding to my ears.
I am fascinated to see when you get the right combination of equipment and settings to get this kind of sound out of the Lyra. Lyra is really a "living organism", and very difficult to control that aggressiveness and intrinsic chaos. Congratulations on your work! The Sax section blow my mind.. it´s amazing! Are lyra and sax connected to a mixer before going to microcosm?
Thank you so much! Actually, i made a short video about that particular setup here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mdTuDrxedI0.htmlsi=epNXshYT6d39JXa2
