Curiously Listed: Widnes and Runcorn 

The wife and I enjoy watching your videos here in Houston, Texas. I have a somewhat tenuous connection with Widnes, as my sister's late husband Colin Mottershead's grandfather Joseph Mottershead, who was awarded the Victoria Cross in the first world war and has recently had a statue unveiled in the park near the war memorial i believe. My cousin used to live in Warrington and his widow i believe still does. My father used to work for Crossville Bus service so we would take a bus and go for a picnic some. where along the Bridgewater canal I used to ride my bike from Old Swan in Liverpool over the Transporter and on to the canal to go fishing, probably in the late 50's well before you where born I guess. Great video. The listed sewer vent was “listed” in the safety case documentation prepared for HSE on the chemical site in Widnes that I worked at.
