I am using Innersense products and I love that foam but you are right, it is tricky. So far, for me, using their leave-in conditioner as a base, then 3 pumps of the I Create Curl Memory, then brush styling, then glazing 2-3 pumps of the foam works really well. One thing I noticed about the foam is it works better for me if I emulsify it. Which I don’t think you are normally supposed to do with a foam? That is what has worked so far for me.
Wow, thanks for the suggestion! I was struggling to get good results with the foam, since it is soooo crunchy. I do like the hold though. I just did your suggested routine (used Aveda nutriplenish leave in) and my results are looking great! I'm excited to see how they last in the humidity. 🥰
I just did a wash day with only this foam, and WOW, the HOLD!! I refreshed on day 2 with a bit more, and got more definition, but I can’t even get my fingers through my hair. Today is day 3, and I didn’t add anything, but put it up in a banana clip and it has lots of curl and volume. Tmrw is day 4, and I’m going to refresh with water to see how that goes.

The Bounce Curl brush was back in stock and I got mine in this week. Used it yesterday and I am in love. My curls have never been so smooth and defined.
This foam is crazy intense! I have fine, thin 3b curls and I seriously could NOT scrunch out the crunch. Not good when I need some volume to cover up thin areas on my scalp. However, i love the Innersense I Create Volume foam.

Omg, I recently found your channel and enjoy your tips and suggestions. I tried some and WOW what a difference. I have been doing curls for 30 years and have struggled immensely. I cut it off every couple of years because I get tired of the struggle. My curls thank you!
I didnt get such a crazy cast when I used the foam. I used about 8 pumps. I wasnt impressed with the results but im definitely going to be trying it again. It would be nice to see you try some of innersense hair treatments such as the detox hair mask or hydrating mask or scalp scrub.
For me, this Innersense foam is the product of the year giving extreme definition and hold that last for days. Finding the right amount is tricky, though, but it's worth playing around with it. I typically use it with the Curlsmith AirDry Cream ot the Curlsmith Thickening Lotion underneath.
I missed the restock of the brush again and I was on the email list. It never came 😅 So I will sign up again. I figure eventually it'll be in stock once everyone else gets it so I'll probably just wait. I am looking forward to getting one!:

Thanks for this video. I have a small patch of greys coming and I’ve noticed they need a lot more moisture than the rest of my hair to behave and curl. I also find that mousse makes my hair drier than gel.

@@DaraS84 i have an app called "shop" helps me track my packages and has bounce curl shop on there as well. I found the brush and marked it as a favorite and hit the notify when instock button. Then got notified through that app when it was in stock. Try that, restock should be next week!
Do u think u get more volume then this then the I create volume foam. Also I was having same problem with layers. I let my layers grow out then told my stylest to put light layer from my ears up leaving bottom as like a solid base n that helped.

Oooh I might have to try that foam! I'd love a strong hold foam, they usually do nothing for my hair. I could probably get away with a single styler routine with this one though!
I have the opposite problem of many people and my hair casts like CRAZY. With any product, even just leave-in conditioner. If I use a hard hold gel sometimes my cast is so strong it's hard to scrunch out. I'm not sure why this happens. My hair is fine with a loose curl pattern and quite healthy/low porosity. It's dry but not horribly so. I'm careful to use a good amount of moisturizing products and water as well. Do you have any ideas of why this happens? Thank you!! I love your channel
I think it is most likely due to your hair being low porosity with the product working faster as it is coats the strands right away; kinda sitting there and not opening up hair shafts and absorbing more product as it would in medium to high porosity hair. Fine hair likely also contributes as it takes less product to do its job. Gena has medium porosity, I think. Even though it looks like she has fine hair because of the thinner density, I believe she said before that she has medium with some coarse strands.
I’ve mentioned it before, but the LA Look Sport Gel Strong Hold is amazing at a low price. Have been using it for years. Your HG Ouidad gel does nothing to hold my curls and at many times the cost!! Are you opposed to low cost options that are more effective? Please try this gel and tell your viewers about it. Has been an HG for me (I scrunch out the crunch). For reference, the Twist gel works better for me then the Ouidad, but not as well as the LA Look. I use it for refreshing…
I love your videos but i find myself still so confused with my own hair (was poker straight until puberty) I have red fine hair but when i say to my salon its thin they say i have a lot of hair its just fine. My curls when drying separate into a frizzy mess like im in the lion king. I tried not your mothers but its so sticky, and makes my hair look greasy and weighed down. Like i need a lot of moisture to make my curls stay together but everything i use is too heavy and makes my curls stringy OR greasy. I keep hoping watching all your videos something will click ❤
Once you find a lightweight leave-in, mousse works well on fine hair because it is so lightweight! (Both applied on clean wet hair of course.) I've found Curls Blueberry Bliss leave-in to be light weight and moisturizing with only a little bit needed, lasting a long time.
It's been years, but I once tried the orange marmalade and it was awful in my hair. It gave me no hold and it looked like I didnt have product in by the end of the day haha. However many people love it!
HATED this product line. I bought: 'Clarity Hairbath & Conditioner', along with the 'Curly Styler Travel Trio', and 'I Create Definition', and my hair was like straw after one use of only these products. I needed a new clarifying shampoo, as my current one has been discontinued. After trying the Clarity Hairbath & Conditioner just once, my fine, untreated, wavy/curly mixed hair has been like straw for weeks. So bad I don't dare use a hairdryer. I now have to air dry, which does not make for my best hair, but I need to give my now dry frizzy hair a break. I only wash my hair 1-2x week, and this one wash with the Innersense clarifying shampoo & conditioner set me back, big time. As for the styling products, nothing stood out as a keeper. The I create definition, even when I added more, and they did not help with my lack of moisture, including the Quiet Calm Curl Control. Never again.
Ok… so i bought the texturizing cream a while ago. I dont use it becuase wasnt sure how, i have fine wavy hair . Low to medium density. So how do you use and with what? Very curious as i have never seen it mentioned before in any videos. Thank you!!
