I know this video is old, but I just wanted to thank you for posting such a clear tutorial. I'm trying out Curlformers for the first time today (currently letting my hair air-dry) and your instructions really helped me out. Thanks!

I relaxed my hair for the first time at 12 and by 16 there was practically none left. I stopped the relaxer just before I turned 16 and started wearing weaves. Now, at 18, I've been straightening my edges enough that they hardly curl at all so I've decided it's time to get rid of the weave. My dad just bought these to try and this tutorial is awesome! I just wanted to say thanks for helping show that natural hair isn't bad as long as you treat it right. Wish I had seen this when I was 12 :/

I used it for the first time last night and I love them. I used the short & narrow on my hair with some rows of flat twist along the front of my head. I let them air dry for a few hours and I must say I am amazed by the results. My hair feels soft and the curls or springy. So much body and movement. My hair is not relaxed yet it looks like I had my hair relaxed

I really like these curlers. I saw it and I immediately went out and bought it because it looked so cool. They curled my hair perfectly. I had a little difficulty putting them in but after I got the hang of it, it was pretty smooth. Thanks for sharing this with us I really appreciate it. :-)

@prettyinpink97 Nope...as long as you make sure that your hair is twisted at the root and COMPLETELY within the eye of the hook. Otherwise...snagging can occur!

Fantastic!! I simply must buy this. I did not have success with rods. In the end, I stuck with the old fashioned snap rollers, which did the job, but are a bit uncomfortable and keep too much wetness. Rods end up falling out or pinching me, but the curls do work... somewhat. Thanks for another wonderful video! :D

I am so jealous of you. I'm thirteen and I am in transition and I just wanted to say that I'm jealous because my curl pattern is exactly like yours before I relaxed my hair. Before I didn't have the knowledge to take care of my hair properly so that is the main reason why I relaxed my hair. I just wanted to say thank you for posting this video. Lauren may I suggest having a spray bottle handy with a little of your favorite essential oil mixed in with the water (lukewarm). Most dollar stores carry decent sizes and variety. I also am a die hard fan of Infusium Leave In Conditioner too.

I used curlformer on my nieces and goddaughter to give them curly ponytails. I mainly use the long and short narrow blue and green set. I may invest in the wider for myself after seeing ur curls.

Try sealing in the moisture from your leave in conditioner with an essential oil like cocount, jojoba or argan or shea butter. use it to seal your ends right after moisurizing with your leave-in. hope this helps! : )

This is a great video I was just in Sally's and was about to buy them and decided not to because someone their said they tried it and it did not hold so I got those self-gripping rollers instead. I will definitely be taking them back to get the Curlformers. That process looks to fast and simple for me not too. I think is I add some Eco gel or honey wax I could reduce a lot of frizz. Will try. Thanks again! I love my natural family!!

@TheSupasweet Sorry to hear that : ( I didn't have any problems with mine. The company does note though that when you are disconnecting the rod, that you pull it straight out and not attempt to twist while pulling them apart. Hey..at least duct tape solves most problems lol : )
