I’m a 39 year old dude who has now come the point in my life where I need to watch curling videos so my 6 year old gets the hair she wants. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this inept yet excited to learn

Ok I’m THAT girl who kept having “hooks” in her hair every time she would use a clamp iron and never knew why-thank you for FINALLY helping me understand why that always happens to me. I literally just switched to a wand to avoid the problem because I could never get it right with a clamp!

I had the same mason and pearson brush my whole life since i was literally 7 years old and i lost it on holiday and even made an insurance claim on it. can't live with out it, definitely an investment. people thought i was nuts having a $400 hair brush but it lasts and makes such a difference for me

When I was 11 I did my hair for a Christmas dinner at school and I did my hair. First I went in with the flat iron and straightened my curly frizzy hair that was 28 inches atm. After half and hour I was done with straightening alone. After that I went in with my curling iron and that took another hour. The bad thing was, while I was curling the one side, the other side collapsed and the damn curls weren’t even the same💀 so I had to go in another quick round on the side that collapsed. After the night on school my hair looked so f**king good. It was like kinda wavy but clean and I was obsessed. Unfortunately, it took me 2 and a half hours and I didn’t wanna go trough that again. Buuuuuuut a week ago I cut 10 inches of my hair and for me it’s pretty short. I might try it again, who knows🤷🏻‍♀️😌 Idk why I just wrote this. I look up to this man so much that I can’t cope, he was the one that got my into my styling techniques, I feel more confident I myself when I see his videos, his intros and when I do curls in my own hair. I have struggled with a lot of health issues and problems as myself and I always used to cute my old fringe snd it wouldn’t grow shave pieces if my hair and I never knew how to cope.
