Thank you Meg for this nice video - I will try this hand test !! May I ask you, how much days are you able to go after your shampoo please? How can I know if it's better to wash my hair or if i can go longer with refresh ? Now that I know better how to treat my hair (I'm following Curl Ninja too and I really love your content too), I have more volume the refresh day thanks to your video on your technique to refresh (I have discovered you thanks to Linabel D. who's in the Curl Ninja fb group, she has got a cut with you not long ago, and mentionned you and your refresh video - and how she loves her new hair cut, and yes it's great !) - and i feel my refresh day are better than my wash day now (i didn't think i could do that before - it was so hard to manage this refresh things right), so i feel like you describe on the beggining of your video : i can see more definition than frizz (still there are frizz, but this is also why there is volume which i love). And about this hand test, i wanna test with the styling cream by devacurl, do you think it could be left on my hand after those 10 minutes, or is it better to wash my hands ? (maybe a stupid question!... don't know)
Great question. It’s a lifestyle choice when shampooing. You can usually tell when it’s time for a wash when the roots feel icky and the scalp could be a little itchy.
Thanks Meg!! Great video! I’ve never heard about doing the hands test but it really makes sense. I will try that. I still have plenty DevaCurl cleanser and conditioner left but may look into Innersense stylers. Very curious about that line since it’s so clean!!
Been using Innersense for 2 weeks now and it is great if you suffer from and itchy scalp. My son has seborrheic dermatitis and he finds he is not getting the flakes anymore. Really liking Innersense products.
I’ve been using Innersense for 3 months but have been losing a ton more hair afterwards even though I feel like my hair looks great. Someone suggested that maybe I need a heavier cleanser and that it’s clogging my hair cuticles? Thoughts? I have a lot of allergies like sunflower/safflower oil and neem so finding clean products is super hard
It’s just a thought but I wonder if you’re shedding because of a specific cycle that your body is going through. It could be relatable to your menstrual cycle. I know that there’s times where my hair literally falls out in a way that feels abnormal and my body is under a specific amount of stress due to my hormones and my diet. Does any of this feel relevant to your current situation?
Thanks Meg for uploading the replay. I know I will be buying innersense when I need new products. Everything I've seen so far about is is only possitive and have the feeling that you can't go wrong with them. Heard that the hydrating line is very hydrating, for some a bit much even, so I'll go for the color or the pure line. The ingredients are the same (at least for the shampoos), difference being that the color line has a higher concentration of protein to help with damage from dyeing. Keep up the good work! By the way, I signed up for the newsletter at the end of may and was wondering if there is also access to older newsletters. Also don't know if you had one in May (I think so) but haven't received it, maybe because it was out before I signed up. Thanks and lots of love from the Netherlands. ❤️
