What I use on my Curly hair:
Mixed Chicks leave in conditioner
I found a website called CurlMart.com they sell it for $17.99 instead of $19.99
Sallys also have the generic brand of mixedchicks for $14.99
Herbal Essences Totally Twisted shampoo and conditioner
I co-wash (meaning only wash my hair with conditioner) more than shampooing
John Freida's Dream Curls Spray
What I use on my natural hair:
Lottabody Carrot & Keratin Setting Lotion
TRESemme Extra Firm Control hair spray
TRESemme Extra Firm Control Mousse
Cantu Shea butter flat iron spray
Grease Gro Therapy Olive Oil Formulay
Root Recovery Temple Stimulant Growth Renew by Profectiv
Virgin Glam Malaysian Curly 22in 20in 18in 18in
I ONLY USED: 18in (used all of it) 18in (I have 1/3 left over) and 20in (i have 1/4 left over) I added all of the 22in and trimmed it to about 21in so it will all blend together

SUMMARY: I made my hair on a halfwig....this is MY WAY of managing my curly hair...curly hair can be VERY difficult to handle because its high maintenance. I DO take this off at night to care for the hair and to speed up my morning routine.
MY MAINTENANCE:
I use a spray bottle to wet the hair, let it sit on a clean towel and air dry....
I roll my leave out every night using my blending method

I long hair about 16 inches or so naturally curly LOVE my hair! I may put in a weave to keep it healthy...but whoever wears weave because they dislike their hair let em live..

Yes!! I bought Mixed Chicks shampoo and conditioner at a hair show in Atlanta about 3 years ago, I AM IN LOVE....STILL. I bought it for my clients that are mixed to put in their hair but decided to use it on my wet and wavy hair....THE BOMB!!! It works everytime on ANY curly hair!!!!!!

Yessssssss! My daughter has tons of fine hair.. and I use Tresamae or herbal essence. She's 100% black just has no coil to her hair.. wavy, long and fine hair just like you have. People are so narrow minded lol.

Lmfao you're so me. This why my leave out and hair stay laid. I only wear curly weaves cus they blend with my leaveout and I use Aussie holding spray or garnier fructis anti humidity spray on my leave out and it does not budge l day even in the hot ass summer. Black folks need to experiment more I'm telling you it's holy grail and I only use that along with my gel lol.

If you want a cheaper alternative, then maybe you should try mixed silk. It is the "off brand" version of mixed chics. :)) the hair is beautiful regardless!

yea but i wear that straight because its VERY hard to blend with that hair so i perfer this hair over the N.R. curly but that hair is very nice just not as good curly as this hair is

Sally Beauty has a knock off version of the Mixed Chicks conditioner. You may want to try it and do a review. Let us know what you think. I'm sure it costs a little less.

That is not true sweetie it is designed to assisted people with multiple ethnic backgrounds. However ANYONE can use it, just depends on your hair type and what you are using it for. I know some that use it on there curly weave also because of the weave texture. Go on their website its great information on there also

I love love looove it! Lol The hair is beautiful and the info you give in your videos are always on point. I want to try a sew-in with hair having a similar curl pattern but my hair is relaxed so I'm not sure if it would blend well : /. Are there any tips you can give to people with relaxed hair as far as blending?? Im not a fan of weaves with no parts so i really want to leave my hair out to give a natural look. Adri I have Straight hair it is NOT natural (sadly) and i LOOOVVEE curly hair it looks beautiful on me and i am DYING for some curly hair for the summer I am NOT good at blending and i am Dark skin like yourself (Go chocolate!) it is one of the reason WHY i dont like lace fronts or closures because they DO NOT match my skin tone AT ALL do you have any tips for this because i REALLY want some curly hair for the summer

My u-part wigs always come out to big for my head!!! I've tried the spandex & mesh weaving cap in the small sizes!! What do I do? I'm new to the whole weave thing and I'm curious to know whether this is a sew in or glue in. I do know you said it's a half wig btw. Are half wigs usually glued our sewed? Half wigs are usually on a cap. But you can get them sewn down. Keep in mind you would be forced to style and maintain it everyday because its attached to your head.
